A total of 154 houses in the area affected by the explosion along Jalan Putra Harmoni has been declared safe.   Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said this followed a second, more detailed, inspection by the Fire and Rescue Department. 00:00The fire department and I have completed the assessment of the damage to the house for the second time, which is more severe.

00:10Including in the house, the assessment this time includes a larger radius, which is 325 meters, whereas previously the radius used was 280 meters.

00:26The assessment results announced that the fire department estimated that of the 439 houses evaluated, in the radius of 220 houses are safe, that is, not damaged.

00:42While the affected house is as many as 219 houses.

00:47From this amount, 87 houses experienced damage exceeding 20%.

00:54We estimate as a major damage, while 132 houses experienced minor damage, less than 20%.

01:03Accordingly, 320 houses are safe or damaged below 20%, that is, 80% of the damaged houses can be resettled.

01:16Houses that have suffered damage below 20% are allowed to be repaired by the owner or the owner of the house starting today.

01:23The list of houses will be submitted to the owner of the house.

01:27So far, as many as 130 houses have been resettled.

01:33And we got the results of the assessment, 40 houses have been resettled by the owner.

01:39So today, the assessment has also been done in the houses in Kuala Sungai Baru village.

01:45And we have allowed as many as 21 houses to be resettled by the testers.

01:53So the number that we have allowed until today is 151 houses that have been tested by the JKR, Bomber and TNB.

02:06Where the houses are safe to be resettled and have utility, that is, electricity and water.
