00:00Federal prosecutors promised when they announced the charges against Diddy the indictment that they were going to continue
00:07Investigating they said this is an open investigation
00:09Which certainly hinted we're not done charging this guy
00:13and that has
00:15come true because they have now announced a
00:19Superseding indictment which basically says which is fancy term for we got new charges more charges and by the way
00:26This is the second superseding indictment. So they are superseding superseding. Yeah, exactly. It should have been yeah
00:32Isn't it a double superseding superseding the new charges relate to?
00:37victim 2
00:39And you remember in the last time they added on more charges
00:43They added victim 2 and victim 3
00:46Victim 1 we all believe to be Cassie because Diddy's people have referred to victim 1 as being Cassie
00:53But victim 2 and number 3 we don't know their identities, but now the feds are saying that allegedly Diddy
01:01Was doing other things with this victim 2 that they didn't know about and now they have enough evidence
01:06and so bring this so those charges are sex trafficking by force fraud or coercion and
01:12transportation to engage in
01:14Prostitution which is interesting because you all have this great new documentary out talking about Diddy's defense
01:21Yeah, and the mock jury in that were
01:26uncomfortable with some of these ideas of sex trafficking and
01:30prostitution and this concept of whether this really was
01:33Consensual and whether they seem to think some of them that the government was going too far by suggesting sex traffic
01:41Here they are adding more of those charges
01:43Well, the interesting thing is no matter how many indictments or charges, you know get put out
01:48You know people just really want to see the trial, you know
01:51We've heard of enough allegations a nerf enough in the in the windows and you know
01:56People really want to see facts at this point, you know
01:58I've seen a lot of reactions that you know, people just kind of want to see if it's true or not at this point
02:04Yeah, especially because these new charges are
02:07Repeating some of the charges against other against victim one. So he's now facing a total of five counts
02:13It had been three but it's it's suggesting that there was a pattern right that it wasn't just this one person
02:19So that you could see another
02:21Superseding indictment for victim number three if they're able to prove in their minds the same pattern for that person
02:27What is interesting is that we are the clock is ticking
02:29We're getting closer trial is scheduled to begin the beginning of May and so to be adding these charges it
02:37Because they're the same
02:39Charges as they they put on the other victim on victim one
02:43Maybe it's easier for the defense, but I would imagine if you're the defense you're going look
02:47We're trying to figure out our strategy. We're trying to yeah, and you're adding these charges
02:52Do you guys think this will be the trial of the decade?
02:54I think a lot of it depends on how much we see these other big names
02:57Which could make it even a bigger deal?
03:00But part of the issue Trent is that this is not going to be on camera, right?
03:04And so federal case people don't get to see the drama the way that they did unlike the OJ case where you watch it
03:10like a reality show right gonna be a lot of
03:12Courtroom reporting and sketches which are not great on TV or not great online. Yeah
03:19I'm from New Jersey by way of Brooklyn, and I don't think that this looks good for Diddy at all
03:25I think that the feds are not playing
03:27I think that adding these charges a month before trial is set to begin is very telling
03:33I'm afraid to see what else is gonna come out during trial and I'm curious to see who the second victim is
03:38Yeah, we don't know how the government's gonna deal with this by the way because they have not revealed the identities
03:43Do they clear the court?
03:45So that the the testimony is not seen by the public or are they going to reveal who the victims are?
03:55another thing to look for when it starts
