00:00The bantamweight title of the bantamweight tournament has some major changes for that april 11th card next friday
00:05There is a big matchup out new fighters in let's talk about that right now
00:10First of all ali taleb versus ruiz fight is canceled. That one is off off the card completely
00:16Why well apparently ruiz could not participate due to visa issues that could not get him to orlando for that fight

00:34Maybe we see him coming down the line for the pfl
00:36But instead of just giving uh taleb a new opponent the pfl has decided to instead switch him over
00:42To the recently announced pfl europe card on may 24th
00:46So now he gets a little bit extra time to train
00:49And he gets a new opponent and fighting over in europe instead of having maybe to work on visa issues for him
00:54I don't know if he was having those but instead of having to bring him over here to the u.s. And
00:59Fighting on orlando. They're going to fight him over there in europe
01:03So we see a new matchup for him. So since both those fighters now out of that matchup instead
01:09We get a whole new battle in this welterweight toward a bantamweight tournament

01:23Now he was part of an alternate bout already for this tournament, but instead of shifting that whole thing up

01:31Nuzzi is a 28 year old from italy ten and one in his mma career one
01:36No contest most of his fights were the italian leagues, you know fights in uh, mma leagues over there before
01:42His one no contest fight in the pfl card on august 27 august of 2022
01:48He had a round one head kick on a pfl europe card in july of 23
01:52So he's got two fights in the pfl
01:54Both there in european fights
01:57But now he comes over to the us for the first time seeing what he can do on the big stage for the pfl
02:02In this tournament in orlando kicking off next week
02:06Who is his opponent not the fight that he had against matthias mateos the total alternate bout that was already planned for him
02:13Uh now instead he is getting a fight on the main card against mando gutierrez
02:18Gutierrez is a 28 year old american who's 10 and 3 in his mma career
02:22He's got six wins by submission coming in on a two-fight win streak
02:27It's going to be his first fight in the pfl or in the big leagues there
02:30He actually fought once for lights out who we know well, so, you know has had some experience here
02:36in the us on other cards now getting his first shot in the pfl was going to be

02:46Matos ends up still fighting in an alternate bout on this card
02:49So we'll see if he can work his way back in if someone gets injured

03:17It seems like newsy is going to be a guy that wants to keep it on the feet wants to keep it standing

04:29So because of that now justin wetzel is in against kasim kasimov
04:33The kasimov was already a part of this tournament, obviously
04:37He's gonna fight clark now. He fights justin wetzel a 33 year old american who was 10 and 2 in his mma career
04:42He's got four kos tkos five decisions
04:46So on a three fight win streak, so he's a guy who's well rounded
04:49We'll see if he could do that against kasimov
04:51Now he steps in on short notice to try to make his name here in the pfl
04:54Going to be a tough task against kasimov and uh, the great fight record that he has
04:59Also changes to the week following
05:02To the headliner for that one and that is that middleweight title
05:06Middleweight fight that was supposed to be the main event not title fight
05:08But the main event of that start of the tournament
05:11Where imba kasanga and I was supposed to fight fabian edwards was going to be a great striking battle
05:15Two guys that we thought could be you know favorites to go later in this tournament that are matching up very early on
05:20Well now fabian edwards is out
05:22Not sure why I didn't see anything on his social media even just a couple days ago
05:25He was posting about you know, a countdown getting ready for this training
05:29Unfortunately, though appears that he is out for one issue or another and imba kasanga
05:33And I is going to be fighting jordan not human newman instead 29 year old american
05:38He's an unbeaten wrestler seven and oh all of his wins were under the bellator banner all of his pro fights

05:45He's going to want to get it to the ground
05:47Kasanga and I is going to want to keep it on the feet and strike
05:50Who controls it is going to be the one who gets the victory?
05:52I think here and I'm going to lean towards kasanga and I his high level his championship battles that he's had
05:58He's fought some of the best as he was going to do again against edwards
06:01I think that even though newman is a great undefeated prospect here
06:05I think that we're going to get the takedown defense from kasanga and I to be able to hold it on the feet
06:10And battle his opponent give him his first loss here
