00:00Back in February, we heard the defense minister announcing plans for overseeing what he called
00:05the voluntary departure of Palestinians from Gaza. I mean, when you hear that, and you hear
00:11plans for taking territory from Gaza and incorporating it into Israeli territory,
00:18do you think we are looking at the start of this plan to relocate 2.4 million
00:26Gazan inhabitants? And where do you think they're supposed to go?
00:28I don't know that there's any serious discussion of reincorporating parts of Gaza into Israel.
00:35But there is discussion of trying to implement President Trump's proposal on a voluntary basis.
00:46Look, without saying anything about the final resolution of Gaza,
00:54part of a two-state solution or whatever, Gaza in its current borders, given its huge population,
01:02huge for the size of the territory, its population rate doubles about every 20 years.
01:08So that today we're talking 4.4, 4.5, excuse me, 2.4 million, let's say. So 20 years from now,
01:15we're talking 4.5 million and 20 years after that, it's 9 million. Gaza isn't
01:21viable in the long-term sense in its current borders.
