00:00This is Project Arrow. It was an Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association of Canada initiative
00:07to demonstrate that we have everything we need in Canada to fully procure, engineer, build and test an entirely electric car.
00:17There were dozens and dozens of Canadian tech producers that supplied into this car.
00:22In fact, if you look at the floor, this is a Canadian maple floor of a car.
00:26I think it might be the first car I've ever sat in that has a hardwood Canadian maple floor.
00:30It actually has cameras for the side mirrors which is a really neat technology.
00:35It avoids the aerodynamic drag of your side mirrors.
00:38We have an incredibly strong and diverse automotive industry in Canada and Ontario
00:43and we think that there are incredible opportunities for trade relationships, for two-way investment
00:48and even R&D and academic collaboration with our post-secondaries all across Europe and the Asian markets.
