00:00If the Commission on Elections in Comelec will ask,
00:03a one-strike policy should be implemented on those who fight the Comelec gun ban.
00:09That's what Comelec Chairperson George Erwin Garcia said in an interview with Radyo Pilipinas.
00:15Next, the Philippine National Police is pursuing a lifetime ban.
00:20Garcia insists that gun ban violators should be taught a lesson
00:24because they are violating two laws.
00:27If there is no exemption from the Comelec,
00:29Comelec should call the PNP and ask them to monitor the election closely,

00:37As of now, 2,200 individuals have been arrested for violating the Comelec gun ban.

00:49because you know, two people will be arrested if they are caught with a gun without an exemption from the Comelec.
