00:00The day of the inter-school wizard duel had finally arrived.

00:04Moonshade Academy was receiving students from the nearby schools when Alex, Mira, and Theo

00:09noticed something strange.

00:11They had left their wands above a counter in the main hall, but now they were all gone.

00:16To compete they needed to find their wands in under 10 minutes.

00:20Take a look at the image and see if you can find any clue about where the wands might

00:24be.

00:27Well, what about those muddy footprints leading to the potions room?

00:36Those look pretty suspicious, so the three wizards decide to follow them all the way

00:40to the next room.

00:44When they arrived, they found a disturbing scenario.

00:47The potion cabinet was open and lots of potions were missing.

00:51These thieves were planning on cheating their way to the top.

00:54There were three potions left that could help them find their wands.

00:57The first one, with the image of an ear, replayed sounds of the past, so they could hear everything

01:02that happened in the room.

01:04The second one, with an eye on it, revealed traces of magical objects.

01:08The third one, with a dog on it, enhanced the sense of smell so they could sniff any

01:13object they wanted to.

01:15Which potion should they use?

01:21Let's see.

01:28The first one wouldn't help them locate their wands, and the third one would probably

01:32be a bit confusing since there were three wands to locate.

01:36So they should definitely use the sight potion and track the traces of all magical objects

01:41moved until they found their wands.

01:46The potion led them all the way down to the dungeon where Moonshade's students kept

01:50their dragons.

01:51When they arrived, they noticed that their dragons were super stressed.

01:55Actually, Mira's dragon looked like it was about to get sick.

01:59Take a look at the image.

02:00Can you spot the reason why Mira's dragon is not feeling well?

02:13If you have a good eye, you've definitely got this one right.

02:16The faint blue trace of the magic potion led all the way to Mira's dragon's belly.

02:22There are three blue lights shining inside her dragon's belly.

02:26These must be the lost wands.

02:28The thieves probably hid it in the dragon food and made Mira's dragon eat them to hide

02:32them.

02:33Yikes!

02:35The trio gave Mira's dragon a potion to get their wands out and ran back to the main hall

02:39for the start of the tournament.

02:41As soon as they got back to the main salon, the headmaster announced that a dangerous

02:45criminal had escaped from a high security prison and was hiding amongst the students.

02:50Alex was chosen to identify the criminal.

02:53He narrowed the suspects down to three people.

02:56The first girl was dressed in a scuba costume.

02:59She said she had been on a mission to free a mermaid.

03:03The second woman was dressed in a dirty wedding gown.

03:06She said she had just arrived from a parallel reality where she saved a bride from a terrible

03:11villain.

03:12The third woman had her school uniform, but it was burnt.

03:16She said she was practicing spells and one of them went terribly wrong, so she almost

03:21put herself on fire.

03:23Can you guess who the criminal is?

03:33It's the third woman.

03:34She had no wand with her, so she couldn't have been practicing spells.

03:38Plus, the uniform is too small.

03:40She probably stole it from one of the real students.

03:44Then it was Theo's time to prove his talents.

03:47He was left at a crossroads.

03:49Before him, there were three roads.

03:51One led him to a safe town, the second one to a dangerous forest, and the third to a

03:57mountain pass full of rocky debris.

04:00There were magical beings standing on the entrance to each road, and they could each

04:04answer one question.

04:06Theo decided to ask them all the same question.

04:10He asked them which road led to the safe town.

04:14The creature guarding the first path said that if he wanted to reach town, this wasn't

04:18the road.

04:20The second creature said that that was the road Theo needed.

04:24And the third creature said that if he took the first road, he would get lost.

04:28Which road should Theo take to get to the safe town?

04:40He should take the third road.

04:42The last creature was the only one who didn't talk about his specific road, but rather another

04:47one.

04:48So he should go down the third road to get to the safe town.

04:53The next task got a bit more complicated.

04:56Mira needed to cross the Everlasting Sands, a dangerous desert.

05:01She had six days to do it on Camelback, but there was a catch.

05:06She could only carry enough food for four days, and needed to be the sole person to

05:11do the complete journey.

05:13She could invite other people to tag along and help her, but only for a few days.

05:19These extra people could take extra food and share it all amongst them.

05:24How many friends do you think she should invite, so that there's enough food for everyone?

05:31Let's see, she'll need to invite at least two people.

05:42Let's say Theo and Alex decided they wanted to tag along.

05:46By the end of the first day, they'll have enough food for nine days.

05:51If they ate the equivalent of three days of food from Theo's bag, Alex would still have

05:56one day of food left to head back home and not need to cross the desert.

06:01Mira and Theo can continue the crossing with an eight-day food package.

06:06At the end of the second day, the total food supply will be reduced to a six-day package.

06:12Now Theo will have enough food for two days in his package, and he can head back home.

06:18This will help Mira to finish the four last days by herself.

06:23Yikes!

06:24This tournament is giving me the heebie-jeebies.

06:29Now it was Theo's turn to compete.

06:31He needed to cross a portal into a dark forest and look for a witch's house.

06:37He could only come back after retaining a strand of the witch's hair.

06:42After walking a few miles in the dark, he found the witch's house.

06:47The witch said she would willingly give him a strand of her hair if he helped her find

06:51a hawk's feather that went missing from her cabinet.

06:55The witch suspected one of her elves had taken it, so Theo went to investigate the case.

07:02Arian said that he was out all day picking berries with the fairies.

07:08Elowen said he spent the day at another witch's house, testing an anti-aging potion.

07:14Ellaria was sorting out the bad herbs from the garden and didn't notice anything weird

07:19going on in the house.

07:22Theo immediately knew what had happened.

07:40Theo noticed that the feather had fallen down and was stuck in a crack on the floor.
