00:00Some of President Trump's anger appears to be reserved for the Ukrainian leader nevertheless,
00:05in particular with relation to the minerals deal.
00:09President Trump seemed to be saying, don't even think about trying to renegotiate that
00:13deal.
00:14I mean, do you think the deal is a fair one?
00:15I do.
00:16I do think it's fair because the more you have the U.S. involved, the more there's an
00:19implied security umbrella there, even if it's not written in stone.
00:25And I think also, you know, the economic development or redevelopment of Ukraine is
00:30going to be really critical.
00:32It's not just what the U.S. gets out of it.
00:34It's what Ukraine gets out of it, which is management skill as well as capital coming
00:41into their country, which they desperately need.
00:43So I think that's a win-win.
00:44And, you know, basically, you might say differently for oil and gas, which has a shorter cycle,
00:50but with critical minerals, that's a 10-year cycle.
00:54There'll be no actual critical minerals processed for years to come.
00:58So it's going to take patient capital, which the U.S. has.
01:02It's going to take a lot of patience, but there has to be some shared upside for both
01:07countries.
