00:00Together with Royal Canin, we conducted a research on 800 owners of dogs and cats,
00:09who have shown a good awareness of the role of food in terms of protection and protection of animal health.
00:1889% confirmed that they pay close attention to us,
00:23and 83% consider the feeding of their pets as important as their own.
00:28However, there are still some margins of intervention and some bad habits that can be improved.
00:36For example, 42% declared us to choose the pet food for their animal,
00:42considering only the tastes, which obviously do not always translate into foods more suitable for their health.
00:49And 27% declared us that it gives food surplus for their animal, for their dog.
00:59In this case, these bad eating habits sometimes also lead to chest discomfort,
01:06so much so that more than 6 out of 10 have shown symptoms of discomfort,
01:11especially related to the gastrointestinal system and weight problems.
01:16In this case, the role of the veterinarian is increasingly central,
01:20who is asked for advice from 71% of the pet owners,
01:27to have advice on nutritional plans and to whom they rely.
01:34It could certainly be useful to rely on your veterinarian,
01:39to ask for advice on what are the best foods for the needs of your pet,
01:45considering the age, breed and any sensitivities present,
01:49and possibly to consult with other experts in the field.
