00:00The Philippine Navy will expand its naval units stationed in the West Philippine Sea and other waters near Taiwan.
00:08This will further strengthen the country's defense capability amid China's growing resistance to the Philippines' territory.
00:16In a radio interview, the Philippine Navy spokesman for the West Philippine Sea, Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad, said that the Philippines is expecting greater strength in the ocean in the coming days.
00:29Trinidad clarified that the Navy will not only strengthen their forces, but also the Philippine Air Force and Philippine Army.
00:59It may not be visible physically, but the effect will be there. If we have presence, we have noted also a decrease in coercive and aggressive actions of the other side, the PLA Navy and Chinese Coast Guard.
