00:33That is the message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:35during the inauguration of the Edilfetir
00:37or the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
00:40At the same time, our President is sending his heartfelt greetings
00:45to all Muslim brothers and sisters in the country.
00:49He emphasized the importance of the Edilfetir
00:53as a symbol of unity and love for one another.
00:57This is not just a simple celebration,
01:00but an opportunity to strengthen unity
01:04and strengthen family, friendship, and community.
01:10We all have a responsibility to each other.
01:13That is why President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. encouraged
01:16to embrace the good deeds of the heart,
01:19to be able to lead the conversation,
01:22and to be involved in activities
01:24that spread the spirit of cooperation.
01:27The President hopes that the dedication and faith
01:32will continue to be strengthened
01:34to spread a more prosperous and peaceful new Philippines.
01:40The Edilfetir is one of the two most important religions in Islam,
01:45which is the second largest religion in the country.
01:49It was announced by our Muslim brothers
01:52after a month of fasting in Ramadan.
01:55Monday was declared a regular non-working day
01:58in the entire Bangsamoro region,
02:00while Malacanang announced
02:02that on Tuesday, April 1,
02:05there will be a holiday or no entry for the Edilfetir.
