00:07I love being honored and it's wonderful to be recognized

00:17you said that being a woman is not a liability,
00:20it's an asset.
00:21I love that.
00:22Can you tell us more about that?
00:24Well, you know, everybody always uses the excuse,
00:27well, because I'm a woman
00:28and it's not an excuse.
00:31I mean, maybe, you know, when I started,
00:34I had to fight a bit harder and I had to work harder,
00:38but it's when young girls come up to me these days
00:42and say this to me, I really, it's not justified
00:46and it's a cop-out.
00:49I love that.
00:50And what advice do you have for young girls
00:52who have dreams of becoming a top female executive
00:54in the industry?
00:55What advice do you have for them?
00:57They can do it.
00:58Do it, work.
01:00This generation does not know how to work.
01:04Say it louder for the people in the back.
01:05I would love to say it louder, work.
01:07We used to work till midnight,
01:09we used to get there at seven in the morning.
01:12There were no hours, there was no HR,
01:15there was nothing.
01:16You worked, you wanted to prove to people
01:19you could do the job.
01:21And to have the opportunity to grow in a business like this
01:24and be part of a business like that
01:26is an absolute honor.
01:29And the hard work pays off
01:30because tonight you're being honored
01:31as the executive of the year.
