00:00Immigration Bureau's Advanced Passenger Information System was launched to make the country's borders safer.
00:09According to him, this is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:14to ensure security and to promote digitalization,
00:18especially by providing a system to assess passengers before they arrive in the country.
00:23As of now, the B.I. has already started pilot testing in the leading airlines.
00:28Immigration in Interpol has also agreed to be connected to the Global Security Watch Lists.
00:35As of now, Cebu Pacific is already implementing this.
00:41Next, PAL will also implement this.
00:46Once everything is smooth, all airlines will be mandated to implement the APs.
