00:12Nothing like it a brotherhood unexpected. So tell me really what it was like from the inside
00:21How to explain it difficult to explain I think
00:26Alex Garland Ray Mendoza, you know really curated a group of guys that they
00:30They knew would care and you know, we'd recognize what's important with the story and commit to it
00:36And they did they put it's really because of them. They put all of us together and we all got along and
00:42It was phenomenal phenomenal experience. Tell me what it was like to get sent to boot camp do the head shaving together
00:50Very fun. Yeah extremely fun. It was a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun
00:54Very fun. Yeah, extremely fun. It was
00:58Extremely fun hard work good work and learned a lot, you know
01:03certainly understand why raised the man to tell this story and
01:07You know instilled in us, you know as many things as he possibly could in a very short time
01:12and I hope we just I hope we all received it as best as we could reading that that Ray and Alex decided like for
01:18An actor to get cast in this movie
01:20They were really looking for people with fire in their guts and actors with the right attitude
01:24Tell me how that translated to the experience. And how do you feel?
01:32Yeah, we already did yeah, I
01:37Am why what did you put them up to this?
01:51What is this about the group
01:54No, no, she she tried to get me to change it to a title that had that definitely didn't you know
02:03Properly label all of us and it was a joke and then they she was talking to them about it
02:07But we do have a group chat
02:08We have every single day we've all like engaged and been talking since we started the film which we started boot camp
02:14you know all the way until now and we continue to catch up with each other whenever we're in each in a
02:20There's more than one of us in a city
02:22We're usually hanging out and listen, you've been in group chats before when other projects projects are always like a family
02:27How is this one different?
02:30You know, sometimes they stick and sometimes they don't and like if you're you know, sometimes um
02:36Sometimes people get busy and you're doing your thing and it carries on for the duration of the project sometimes a year sometimes three
02:43You know, all I'm saying all I know is that we continue to speak daily
02:47You know most of us and and it's profound it's very powerful and are you tattooed I am yeah mine's here
02:55Yeah
02:57Yeah, most of us. I think all of us except for two now

03:10about the recruit
03:11Getting canceled. Tell me how you're feeling
03:14You know, it is what it is
03:16Netflix, you know, they have a certain mandate that they need to fill and I'm very proud of the show
03:21Very grateful to our audience
03:24You know, we have a pretty strong cult following and we know with Netflix
03:27Yeah, it just didn't really fit what it was that they needed I suppose and so on to the next I guess
03:32But we're all very very as a cast
03:35We're all very very happy that we were able to do the seasons that we did and when you look back on that experience
03:40What stands out to you about about the show?
03:43I mean, I I just I learned so much from season one to season two
03:48you know, I really got to see behind the curtain, you know of how a show gets made and that to me was
03:54Was probably the the most, you know educational part of it without a doubt and also having such a great cast
