00:00I've always believed in my heart that if I work hard 120% every day of my life, I'm non-cerebral to no one.
00:14I always wanted to be one of the top players in the world, for sure.
00:19So I understood what it would take for me to maintain my form in all three formats, not just one format.
00:25Because it's very important in a transition phase to be available for all three formats, to take your country forward.
00:31And the kind of position BCCI has put me in, which I'm very thankful of, I take it as an opportunity.
00:38I don't take this as a job. It's an opportunity and it's a responsibility.
00:43I've been put in a place that I need to do the right things, set the right examples and follow a certain path that the whole team believes in.
00:53And along my early days in my career as well, there have been a lot of people who have doubted the way I've gone about my game.
01:01Even now, there are doubters and haters all around.
01:04But one thing is for sure that I've always believed in myself.
01:08I've always believed in my heart that if I work hard 120% every day of my life, I'm non-cerebral to no one.
01:16And I think the reason I thank my teammates is because they bought into it and we all play with that kind of attitude.
01:21We don't care about what happens outside that change room door.
01:24And that's the attitude I've taken ever since, as I mentioned, late 2015, where I stopped putting pressure on myself.
01:32I told myself I'm working hard enough. I have the talent. I have the ability.
01:36I'm just going to go express myself. But if I get an opportunity, I'm going to make sure that I win games for my team.
01:43And I try to do that every time that I go to play.
