00:00So I think handling pressure is the most important thing in the World Cup and not necessarily the condition.
00:05So the most important thing is get out there and enjoy the World Cup.
00:09And if you play to potential, that cup might be here.
00:30You're right. I mean, it does get rid of all the nerves that you have at the side going into a tournament like the World Cup.
00:44And that's the most important thing, I guess, because, you know, white ball cricket playing in England, playing the ICC tournament.
00:52The conditions are not that different or, you know, that that difficult, I would say, compared to test cricket.
00:57So I think handling pressure is the most important thing in the World Cup and not necessarily the conditions.
01:02So, yeah, from that point of view, it would be very helpful. And secondly, all the bowlers that are in the squad,
01:07even during the IPL, they were preparing themselves to be in the zone of playing 50 over cricket.
01:12And if you saw all the guys bowling, no one looked tired or fatigued after bowling four overs. They were very fresh.
01:17So the mindset or the ultimate goal at the back of their minds was always to be fit for the 50 over format and not necessarily let the fitness come down.
01:25And that was communicated before the IPL started.
01:44Look at this team, what they've done over those five years, you know, they've played brilliant cricket.
01:48And like Virat said, you know, it's about striving for that consistency and not playing any differently just because it's a World Cup.
01:57World Cup might be a stage, but that stage is to be enjoyed. So the most important thing is get out there and enjoy the World Cup.
02:05And if you play to potential, that cup might be here. Like Virat mentioned, any team can beat any team on a given day.
02:14You know, if you look at 2014 and 2019 now, the gap is much closer now between teams.
02:22You know, you see what Afghanistan was in 2014, see what they are now. See what Bangladesh was, what they are now.
02:29You know, so it's a strong competition. West Indies, you know, if you look at that side on paper, as strong as any.
02:38And we saw some of them in the IPL, the way they hit the ball. So it's going to be fantastic.
02:43The good thing, though, is there are those nine games, you know, rather than just three or four games where you have to be on the ball from the outset.
