00:00In Quezon City, you were caught beating up some young men and their children inside a passenger jeep.

00:09One of them was armed. Mark Salazar was the one who was arrested.

00:17This was captured by a netizen on March 5 in EDSA Balintawak, Northbound.

00:22Some young men were beaten up by their children inside a jeepney.

00:28I think they had a fight inside the jeepney and they beat them up inside.

00:32But I didn't see the child who was hit inside the jeepney.

00:35There was a woman who was also hit inside the jeepney.

00:38I think it was the same woman who was also hit.

00:41Other jeepney passengers were nervous because of the look of an armed man holding a gun.

00:48They seemed to be small. They were running.

00:50The barangays were chasing them but they couldn't reach them. They all ran away.

00:55The authorities did not recognize the children who were beaten up and the victims.

01:00But when the Barangay Unang Sigaw admitted that they were inside the area,

01:04they have long had a problem with the young men who were involved in petty crimes.

01:09Sometimes, they beat up women. They beat them up. They started a fight.

01:15Most of what happened here was theft of cellphones.

01:19Usually, three days in a week, the BPSO of Barangay Unang Sigaw arrests young men.

01:25Yesterday, they arrested seven young men aged 12 to 17 years old who are said to be involved in petty crimes,

01:34aside from their involvement in the 10 p.m. curfew of the barangay.

01:38We were chasing them. The BPSO of Barangay Unang Sigaw is in Station 3. We caught them.

01:47Our duty at night is from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. We will replace them at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

01:58If the crime is not serious, the young men who are being arrested cannot be detained for a long time.

02:04They are only disciplined according to the law.

02:07We call the parents and we provide them with community service.

02:13We asked them to leave. We have other activities that we can order.
