00:00Chief Minister versus Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said stop this
00:04hate over Hindi to which Tamilnadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has hit back saying do not lecture
00:10on hate Stalin says Yogi has a political dark comedy humor a dark comedy humor is what Stalin
00:19says to Yogi Adityanath adding the BJP has been rattled by our push for the Tamil language
00:26and that how we will not accept the Hindi position in the southern state Yogi Adityanath
00:31adds Stalin fears defeat for upcoming elections in 2026 and therefore doing this Hindi stunt
00:38let's listen in to what Yogi Adityanath had said that has led to this remark from the Tamilnadu Chief Minister
00:56Yogi Adityanath
01:26Yogi Adityanath
01:56India Today's Pramod Madhav joins me from Chennai Pramod good morning tell me more about what Stalin said and because Yogi Adityanath is defending the whole Hindi angle and he is saying stop this hate against Hindi how is Tamilnadu Chief Minister responding to this
02:15well you can very clearly see that the Tamilnadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has strongly reacted to
02:19what the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has spoken because he claims that the whole nation is like
02:24right now contemplating about the two language policy and the fair deal limitation and this is
02:28why the Chief Minister MK Stalin says that the BJP leaders are rattled up and pretty strong words
02:34he has used over here calling that like he has said that we don't oppose any language we oppose
02:40imposition and chauvinism but the biggest kind of like criticism that he has placed
02:44against the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister is lying back the Chief Minister MK Stalin says
02:48that this isn't riot for vote politics this is a battle for dignity and justice
02:54Pramod keep tracking all the latest on this remember ahead of elections in Tamilnadu this
03:00is going to be a big issue Stalin believes that Tamil push is important and it has led to fear
03:05among the BJP against and among government at the center against how they believe that they are
03:10not able to impose Hindi in the southern state we'll be tracking more on this and how will the
03:15DMK push this ahead a big moment coming in for the Kashmir valley after much promise now a train
03:30to Kashmir remember till now that there there had to be a stop and the change and especially
03:36from the Jammu region but now it appears there could be a train directly till Srinagar entering
03:43into the Kashmir valley Prime Minister Modi will be flagging off the Katra Srinagar train this is
03:48very important because this was earlier remember an interchange that's happening for example from
03:54Delhi to Katra which is in Jammu region Katra is of course famous for the Vaishno Devi temple
04:00where lakhs of devotees go daily and then from Katra to Srinagar this is big moment remember
04:05coming in train to Kashmir to start on 19th April and this will be a one day Bharat train that's
04:11been announced but it's going to be interesting remember this will have a lot of security
04:16protocol attached to it to ensure that terrorists in no way will try to hamper this route they do
04:23not want this peace and prosperity in the Kashmir valley Prime Minister Modi we are also told will
04:28be visiting the world's highest rail bridge that has been made in the region my colleague Sunil
04:33Ji Bhatt joins me for the latest on that Sunil so in Udhampur in Katra where this till the last stop
04:40had been done tell us more about this route now Katra to Srinagar when are we expecting it to
04:46begin is this a first and what does this mean as a change for JNK well Pooja the wait is finally
04:54over Dil Ki Doori and Delhi Ki Doori are going to end now Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all
05:00set to you know flag off the inaugural train between Katra and Srinagar on April 19th that's
05:07what our sources have told us he's going to visit Jammu and Kashmir on April 19th he will be landing
05:14in Udhampur and then he will be going to Katra railway station where he will flag off the first
05:20Vande Bharat train from Katra to Srinagar he's also going to visit world's highest railway bridge
05:27that has been constructed over Chenab river in Riyasi district of Jammu region and he's also
05:33going to address a public rally on that day in the holy town of Katra and Pooja this is big
05:39that Kashmir valley is finally getting connected with the rest of the country through rail network
05:45and the inaugural train is going to be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 19th
05:52this will give boost to tourism and this is going to give a major flip to the economy of Jammu and
05:58Kashmir and as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been saying that he wants to end Dil Ki Doori
06:05and Delhi Ki Doori and this is a major step in that direction and this is going to be huge
06:11considering the fact that so far you know train was running within the Kashmir valley and then it
06:17was you know expanded till Sangaldan in Ramban district of Jammu region so the train was running
06:25from Sangaldan to Baramulla now the remaining part has been connected so the train will now
06:32be going from Katra to Srinagar and later most likely in the month of August when the
06:39Jammu railway station expansion work will be completed then train will go from Jammu to
06:44Srinagar but there will be no direct train from Delhi to Srinagar considering the security reasons
06:50their passengers will have... That's an important point that's an important point that you're
06:54making there will be a break in between but remember we are still talking about
06:58a certain kind of conflict zone a lot has changed a lot has improved in J&K however
07:03we know that there are active terrorists still who want to hamper and disturb peace and prosperity
07:07so looking at that security measures there will be an interchange from Katra but Katra to Srinagar
07:12I can only imagine the number of people possibly including myself and Sunil who will be likely
07:18taking this route to explore what the train journey into Kashmir will be looking like.
07:22Thank you very much Sunil for tracking all the latest on that.
07:25Let me now tell you about the big controversy that's been a talking point since the past one
07:39week it's about the cash hole from a sitting judge residence he's denying all the allegations
07:44but a three-member high panel within the judiciary has been set up and they'll want to investigate
07:49where was this mountain of cash half burnt found was it unaccounted then where did it
07:55come from and if it was accounted what was the source of it remember all of this is going to
08:00be very important we are told justice Varma will also be questioned soon by the panel
08:04also personal secretary who asked the cops to return come next day after the fire it's very
08:10important why were the cops asked to return when there was literally a blaze in the house
08:15we were told that possibly the cash hole scene was compromised and some Delhi cops also will
08:21be questioned in this case if they did not immediately seal and preserve the recovery site
08:25not just that government sources tell India today they have no say on the issue for now
08:30because they'll wait for the supreme court inquiry the in-house probe that will be done
08:35and once that concludes government sources say the center is not planning to bring back
08:39their NGAC anytime soon but it will hold talks with political parties on the issue this is very
08:44important remember because this is not something that can be ignored we are talking about a sitting
08:49judge and honestly frankly we don't even know the amount of money that has been seized and
08:56recovered right now or how much of it was burnt only justice Varma will be able to explain on
09:01that so this is what is happening meanwhile in the inquiry remember earlier was just a transfer
09:06to the Allahabad high court even the lawyer said they'll go on a strike they don't want
09:10simply a transfer when a judge is facing a question mark remember this is not a charge
09:16against his credibility right away it's a question mark or where did this bundles of cash come from
09:22in his house so here's what we are going to look at let's take a look precisely on what is this
09:27three member panel and how will the inquiry continue let's take a look we're looking at
09:31remember the three member panel that's going to investigate it's been set up within the judiciary
09:36and therefore this is by the chief justice of India the chief justice of India has decided
09:40that they want to set up the member panel and will investigate further so here's what it's
09:45going to look like justice Varma will be summoned by the inquiry panel according to our sources
09:50coming in from the judiciary the three member panel that has been set up as a team constituted
09:55by the chief justice of India will consult top lawyers for defense and it's very expected
10:00justice Varma of course has been an experienced veteran judge so he'll have his share of team
10:05of legal representatives who he will have from his side the probe will be against but will also be
10:12expedited it's not going to be likely an inquiry that will run into months and years it will have
10:17to be concluded at the soonest because it's about his credibility his reputation as much as the
10:21judicial work that he's been part of especially the judgments that he's given evidence gathered
10:27being examined by the experts forensic experts cops will be questioned fire department will be
10:33questioned as well they were the first responders to that blaze justice Varma's personal secretary
10:37will be questioned why did the personal secretary tell the cops come the next day return the next
10:43day why would you say that when there's been a massive blaze at the house and an investigation
10:48needs to be done cash hole scene at judge's home has been compromised this is a big charge
10:53it should have been immediately sealed because this was not just about the blaze that has to be
10:57put down it is also about massive cash found which clearly appeared to be unaccounted delhi
11:03police did not preserve the cash hole site on 14th march so they are also going to be questioned on
11:07this possibly the ones who were present at the site uh what did the fire department chief say
11:12what did the senior police official say all of that will also be questioned remember it was
11:16primarily the the videos that emerged because till then there were contradictory statements
11:21that there's no cash hole but videos surfaced and then it became clear what exactly possibly
11:27happened at the judge's place
11:37trinamool congress jumping in to support the congress party remember rahul gandhi on one
11:41side claiming that there is a gag that he's not being allowed to speak as well on the other side
11:47rahul gandhi greeting his sister priyanka gandhi vadra in the parliament and that video not going
11:52down well with the looks of our speaker om bilda and that has led to a showdown a controversy
12:00so now the tmc has uh slammed the looks of our speaker and as much as uh coming in support
12:07the congress party here's what has happened tmc mp is saying rahul gandhi greeted his sister
12:13priyanka gandhi vadra why is om bilda upset basically the bhartiya janata party also put
12:18out a video where rahul gandhi was seen uh cupping priyanka cheeks he's greeting her
12:25and mahua moitra come forth has uh has said here i quote her here first speaker allows bjp
12:33to malign sonia gandhi and the family and has nothing else to say so this is what has happened
12:39in this case that the tmc slamming the speaker remember the tmc part of the india bloc have
12:46come to the support of the congress party especially to rahul gandhi but saying this
12:50is a deliberate attempt by the speaker to be able to malign sonia gandhi and the family
12:58i want to bring in my colleague piyush mishra for the latest on that piyush good morning what
13:04exactly happened what got om bilda the loksabha speaker upset over this video and then tell me
13:09how is the tmc jumping in support to the congress good morning puja to you and to all our viewers
13:15and there's a massive uh war of words which is now taking place after om bilaya yesterday
13:19reprimanded a leader of opposition uh rahul gandhi remember that yesterday uh during the
13:24zero hour rahul gandhi was all set to speak and at the moment he stood up to speak up
13:28om bilda read out a rule three four nine of lok sabha where he mentioned that
13:33one should maintain the dignity of the house and also behave in a high in the high standards of
13:40lok sabha rules especially leader of opposition should behave in a proper manner that's what
13:45lok sabha speaker said and after which we saw how the house got adjourned soon after that rahul
13:50gandhi came out and he said that i'm not being allowed to speak whenever i want to raise any
13:54issue i'm denied the opportunity and after uh what om bilda said and what rahul gandhi said
13:59amit malviya had tweeted a video where he had posted two videos one what om bilda said and
14:05two uh in which rahul gandhi is uh seen playfully squeezing the cheeks of uh president gandhi to
14:10draw her attention uh so bjp has backed the claim so they've been made by om bilda and bjp
14:16saying that rahul gandhi's uh behavior is inappropriate after all these things we are
14:20now seeing today puja that trinamool congress has come out and completely in support of uh
14:25the congress party rahul gandhi pranay gandhi where uh mahua mohitra tmc mp is now saying that
14:31om bilda gets upset for rahul gandhi greeting his uh sister but he maintains silence and smiles when
14:38uh the leaders like sonia gandhi and dhani shalli are attacked so there is a support which we can
14:44see how tmc is giving to congress party but yes bjp is coming out videos and claiming uh that
14:51the and could other india bloc partners also join in here could the samajwadi party other
14:56leaders also come and we'll be tracking that and more clearly tmc has taken the lead
15:00piyush keep tracking that thank you very much for now because remember parliament has become a big
15:04showdown it's now speaker versus leader of opposition and just one of the issues is how
15:09rahul gandhi greeted his sister priyanka gandhi vadra in the parliament and according to the
15:14lok sabha speaker decency needs to be maintained but here's what has happened in the case the bjp
15:19has launched a scathing attack at rahul gandhi because rahul gandhi earlier claimed he's not
15:24being allowed to speak in the parliament he's not being allowed to put his views now to that
15:28the bjp has said but rahul gandhi is not even present in the parliament he does not speak on
15:33important significant bills nobody can stop a member of parliament from speaking is what the
15:39party has said but amid all of this remember the bjp then releases a video that the leader
15:44of opposition is greeting his sister priyanka gandhi vadra who's also a fellow congress mp
15:50within the sansad claiming this is violating parliamentary decorum after rahul gandhi
15:56alleged that he requested the speaker to let him speak but om billah made unsubstantiated
16:02remarks against him and ran away rahul gandhi is basically accusing government of the center
16:07that they are not giving place to opposition leaders and especially to
16:11leaders from the congress party to function and and speak in the house
16:21leader of opposition
16:38people are either made to stand or not given a chance to speak
16:45and after that some unnecessary comments are made and things are messed up
16:51its leader of opposition, if you don't let him speak then how will people be protected
16:59defaming the seat of parliament will become his habit
17:05if rahul gandhi is a member of parliament and misguiding the country
17:09that no one can stop anyone from speaking in this house
17:13rahul gandhi does not even sit in the house
17:16if he wants his party member to speak on any bill, he can
17:20but he does not speak on any bill, on any constitution, on any proposal
17:25so now he himself does not come, he himself has no interest in being a member of parliament
17:31and after this where is he going?
17:33he is not a government, he is a speaker of parliament
17:37he is a speaker, he is a custodian of the house
17:39after all, opposition speaks every day
17:41if congress members can speak, then why can't they speak?
17:44always, no member can stand and speak at any time
17:48at any time, he cannot make a point of order
17:52to speak on everything, if a leader wants to speak, then he has all the topics
17:58he can speak on any bill, he can speak on his own
18:02he can speak for zero hours, he can speak in a special mansion
18:05there is a limitless opportunity
18:09I think this accusation is false, and there is a lack of information
18:29but here is what has happened, interestingly
18:31over this issue, there has been a full on political showdown
18:35on one side, Mahayati, the BJP, the Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde, all of them coming together
18:40on the other side is the UBT Sena, led by Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray
18:45while speaking inside the Maharashtra assembly
18:48Eknath Shinde claimed that few Shikhandis are plotting and using Pakhandis to defame him
18:54Shikhandis referring to possibly the political rivals right now
18:59and Pakhandis referring to Kamra
19:01without naming Uddhav Thackeray though, Eknath Shinde claimed
19:04few people know who the real traitor has been
19:06the smear campaign against Shinde will not work
19:09BJP MLC Praveen Dharekar on Wednesday moved a breach of privilege motion notice
19:13against stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra over his parody song
19:16that without naming though clearly targeted the Deputy CM Eknath Shinde
19:20so let's listen in first to what Shinde has said
19:23then what the other party leaders are saying

23:27Alright, it's a big statement that has come in from
23:30Superstar Salman Khan
23:32He's lamenting as it appears
23:34a southern apathy for the Hindi film industry
23:37very interesting
23:38Salman Khan says that
23:40the south has been lukeward to Bollywood
23:44my films don't do well in south he says
23:47southern stars have a bigger fan base
23:50and remember in the past few years
23:53we have seen that there are in many ways
23:55for example the RRR have become such fan India films
23:58it's crossed the language barriers
24:00the southern films have done fairly well
24:03in the north as well
24:05especially even among the Hindi audience
24:07however Salman Khan also makes a very interesting point
24:10he says but what about the Hindi films
24:13and their performance in the southern states
24:15it's been lukeward to Bollywood lately
24:17my films do not do well in south
24:19southern stars have a bigger fan base
24:22so clearly he's of course appreciating
24:24his counterparts and colleagues from the south
24:27but he's also bringing in a fact of why
24:29Hindi films are not able to perform as well
24:32in the southern states
24:36I want to bring in
24:38my colleague Anita Britto
24:40closely tracks the entertainment industry
24:42Anita good morning
24:43tell me more about what did he say
24:45it's very interesting how he points out
24:47was he speaking at some press conference
24:49how did the issue come up and
24:50should we see it as a compliment to the southern stars
24:53or perhaps more as a
24:55as something that Hindi film industry
24:57needs to introspect about
24:59well good morning Pooja
25:01yes you know
25:03it is a compliment in one way
25:05but also he is pointing out the fact that
25:07we are very very
25:09enamored by
25:11south films right now
25:13because again he's very correct
25:15when he says that south films
25:17does do well here in
25:19Hindi belt whereas the films
25:21the Hindi films that are released in southern
25:23south industry
25:25don't manage to do that
25:27that well and that is also
25:29because of the strong fan base
25:31that the actors there have
25:33you know for so many years
25:35south actors never ventured out
25:37of their comfort zone
25:39or from their industry
25:41now after a very very long time
25:43we are seeing all the films that
25:45the south filmmakers
25:47are making have turned out to be
25:49a pan-Indian film
25:51just because the love
25:53and the respect and the numbers
25:55that they can see coming in from
25:57especially from the Hindi belt because
25:59we have been accepting them with
26:01open arms and it's not
26:03since last 2-3 years
26:05but since the beginning since Kamala
26:07since Rajnikanth sir and
26:09many other actors who made
26:11you know who entered
26:13Hindi films and then they
26:15started doing south films
26:17we have been accepting them
26:19since a very long time
26:21so now when it comes to Hindi
26:23actors when it comes
26:25for example when Salman says that when my film
26:27releases in south it doesn't do well
26:29yes people respect me
26:31people love me there but all they do
26:33is like please come and please go
26:35that's about it it is not
26:37shown in terms of numbers and that's
26:39where he says that when there is a collaborative
26:41effort taken from all the
26:43industries things might
26:45change and also he also pointed
26:47out very clearly that if
26:49we in the
26:51Indian cinema gets
26:53you know maximum number of theatres
26:55more than 20-30 thousand right now
26:57we don't have that many number of theatres
26:59Anita it's all about creativity eventually
27:01what connects to the people
27:03with the masses nobody can decide
27:05it not the Hindi film actors neither
27:07from the south it's just perhaps about
27:09how the films have of course
27:11turned the tables in many ways and
27:13that's something that the Hindi films also
27:15need to think about thank you very much Anita
27:17for telling us about what Salman Khan said
27:27Celebrations in Karnataka
27:29by the BJP workers against an
27:31expelled BJP Neta
27:33after Yatnal was expelled from the Bharatiya Janata
27:35Party's top leadership unit
27:37against making statements that he
27:39did with regard to the party
27:41Yatnal expelled and crackers being burst
27:43this is in Vijayapura
27:45and remember Yatnal is no ordinary
27:47young leader he's been a sitting
27:49MLA for Vijayapura
27:51that's where the crackers are being burst
27:53he's been a senior leader of the party
27:55he's been expelled for 6 years right now
27:57for indiscipline for making statements
27:59against party and also
28:01just to let you know a background
28:03Yatnal has been a known beta
28:05known critic of not only Yedurappa
28:07the former chief minister but also his son
28:09Vijendra who's now heading the party unit
28:11so in many ways it was a matter
28:13of hierarchy that the BJP
28:15also had to take a call on
28:17crackers being burst I want to bring in
28:19my colleague Sagai Raj, Sagai tell me more
28:21about this because it's one thing
28:23for the party to take a decision it's another
28:25for celebrations on the ground
28:27absolutely
28:29even if you notice that there are
28:31a few supporters of Basanagoda
28:33party Yatnal who also attended the resignation
28:35for various posts in
28:37Vijayapura district and if you notice
28:39that there is also one faction which has also
28:41celebrated his resignation
28:43and these are the BJP
28:45party workers in Vijayapura
28:47including
28:49Raju Hunnur, Akash Torvai, Sumit Mahadev
28:51Sumit Gaura and Akash Nagpur
28:53who had celebrated
28:55busted crackers and also distributed sweets
28:57alright
28:59Sagai is telling us about these visuals
29:01that are coming in of crackers being burst
29:03remember in many ways also exposing
29:05a certain drift that did exist
29:07not just anywhere in Karnataka but in the constituency
29:09from where
29:11Yatnal was a sitting MLA
29:13and that's Vijayapura, Sagai thank you very much
29:15for now
29:17so basically the Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled
29:19the BJP leader Yatnal for 6 years
29:21Basangoda Patil
29:23Yatnal is a senior leader he has been associated
29:25with the party for very long and
29:27to be expelled for 6 years remember it's a big decision
29:29that the party's top leadership
29:31has taken, one of the reasons is for his
29:33recent statements that have been coming in
29:35against Yedudappa
29:37against the son BY Vijendra who is now
29:39heading the party unit in Karnataka
29:41but also importantly the main charges
29:43indiscipline, anti-party activities
29:45but what we saw in turn was certain
29:47celebrations on the ground as well
29:49but let me tell you what basically happened
29:51he had trained guns at Yedudappa
29:53urging the former chief minister to abandon
29:55his infatuation with his son Vijendra
29:57and focus on the party instead
29:59he is accusing Vijendra of
30:01maintaining close ties with Karnataka president
30:03and deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar
30:05meanwhile BJP Karnataka president
30:07Vijendra stated he cannot rejoice
30:09this moment, it's an unfortunate development
30:11he's added that he was never disturbed
30:13by past incidents, senior party
30:15netas have the authority to correct and guide him
30:17but it's of course the leadership from Delhi
30:19that's taken this decision
30:21to cut the axe on him
30:31he's a good man
30:33he's a good man
30:35he's a good man
30:37the statement that was being made
30:39against the party by the local MLA
30:41and there was no action
30:43taken against him
30:45so many workers
30:47were confused
30:49which party are we in?
30:51or does he harass the party again and again?
30:53and this
30:55this anti-party
30:57against the party
30:59he behaved like an agent
31:01for that
31:03he has taken a good decision
31:05we welcome all the members of the committee
31:07the party has taken this decision
31:09after giving it a lot of thought
31:11it's good for the party
31:13to control the anti-democracy
31:15this is the right step
31:17I think
31:19in democracy and democracy
31:21there are differences
31:23but something has gone too far
31:25so I think the party has taken the right decision
31:29We have news coming in from National Capital Delhi
31:31BJP MLA is raising objections
31:33to namaz prayers being offered on the streets
31:35and how it causes inconvenience
31:37and specially the traffic snarls
31:39that emerge
31:41specially remember on the Friday afternoon
31:43when there are massive congregations
31:45that come in
31:47the BJP MLA is opposing
31:49the namaz on roads
31:51saying that it hits commuters
31:53even ambulance and school buses
31:55are hitting people
31:57because it's usually the school time
31:59of return
32:01and then BJP MLA adds
32:03this is MLA Karne
32:05he's saying that allow namaz
32:07in specific sites only
32:09and Aam Aadmi Party
32:11saying namaz can be allowed
32:13should be allowed on the roads
32:15there's no problem
32:17so it's AAP versus the Delhi BJP right now
32:27sambit
32:29namaz
32:31namaz
32:33which
32:35is being offered on street
32:37namaz
32:39no one
32:41has any objection
32:43but only the views been given
32:45should be left only
32:47to ambulance and school
32:49and Aam Aadmi
32:51should not face the responsibility
32:53why do we
32:55There is no objection to doing it or not doing it.
32:59You can do it in the mosque,
33:01wherever you want to do it,
33:03you can do it there,
33:05but do it on the main road
33:07and do not disturb people.
33:09This is what I want to say.
33:11This is not a matter of religion.
33:13This is an issue of convenience and inconvenience.
33:15If at a public place,
33:17on the road or on the path
33:19from where people have to pass,
33:21vehicles have to pass,
33:23but if there is a movement
33:25in the form of people,
33:27or if there is some other
33:29type of inconvenience,
33:31then there is definitely
33:33a voice for it.
33:35In this way,
33:37to remove that inconvenience,
33:39if it is happening at a public place,
33:41then others should not have it.
33:43If someone follows his religion,
33:45then he has complete freedom,
33:47but his freedom should be limited to himself.
33:49As far as I feel,
33:51now there is no prayer,
33:53for a long time.
33:55If there is prayer on the road,
33:57then there will be a compulsion.
33:59If there is no place in the mosque,
34:01then there will be some places
34:03where people come.
34:05The leaders of the BJP have no work.
34:07They have only one job.
34:09One leader says that the meat shops
34:11should be closed.
34:13Another leader says that
34:15prayer is a problem,
34:17someone has a problem with the call to prayer.
34:19Kumar Kunal is joining me
34:21for the latest on that. Kunal,
34:23the BJP is in the government right now.
34:25Could we expect any action on this?
34:27Or is this just a political rhetoric?
34:29Tell us more about what the BJP MLA
34:31has said. What does it mean?
34:33Because we are also heading
34:35for the Friday prayers
34:37in the next 24 hours.
34:39It will be the last Shuma
34:41for the Ramzan month.
34:43That's why all these things
34:45are coming up.
34:47The MLA has written a letter
34:49to Delhi police commissioner
34:51demanding that any kind of
34:53Namaz should not happen
34:55on the roads,
34:57especially on the main roads
34:59because it disrupts the traffic.
35:01Even law and order
35:03situation could be an issue
35:05as well if people
35:07are taking to the roads
35:09offering their prayers.
35:11So it should be immediately
35:13stopped.
35:15So this is the demand.
35:17And now many of the political
35:19leaders in his party,
35:21which is BJP,
35:23they have supported his demand
35:25that if someone has to
35:27do his prayer
35:29or her prayer,
35:31they should go to the mosque,
35:33not on the road.
35:35But definitely,
35:37just a few days ago,
35:39another MLA from BJP,
35:41Ravi Negi, he demanded
35:43that any meat shop
35:45should not open
35:47on the eve of Eid
35:49because that is coinciding
35:51with the Navratra festival
35:53of Hindus as well.
35:55Such a controversial statement
35:57and letters are coming up.
35:59Now it is up to the government
36:01because both the central government
36:03and Delhi government
36:05is being headed by the BJP.
36:07So they have to take a call on this,
36:09what they are going to do
36:11about these letters and these demands.
36:41It is much a matter of perhaps a collective celebration
36:43but communal tensions too.
36:45Uttar Pradesh's sitting minister says,
36:47shut the meat shops for 10 days.
36:49Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi party
36:51slamming the buy one get one free liquor scheme.
36:53Akhilesh Yadav says,
36:55but the BJP has a liquor party on Navratri
36:57but they want to ban the meat shops.
36:59Let's listen in to what the leaders
37:01are saying on this. Remember,
37:03next week begins with the Navratris
37:05and also with the festival of Eid.
37:11This is Yogi ji's party time
37:13for us and for you.
37:15Yogi ji has started this party time
37:17for us and for you.
37:19And you tell me,
37:21what kind of a government is this
37:23during Navratri?
37:25Now you will say, is this an anti-government?
37:27Tell me, during Navratri,
37:29what is the BJP doing?
37:31What scheme have they brought?
37:33One bottle of alcohol with one bottle of liquor,
37:35free!
37:37Yogi ji does not know
37:39that Navratri is about to begin.
38:03Samarth Srivastava is joining me
38:05for the latest on that.
38:07Tell me more about what this is going to be
38:09in Uttar Pradesh. We have seen some days of
38:11tension in the state.
38:13How will this be decided now
38:15with regard to how everyone can celebrate
38:17their respective festivals but also
38:19to keep sentiments respected
38:21and to not have any sort of tensions?
38:25Uttar Pradesh Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal
38:27in a way, during a press conference
38:29that he was holding after the
38:318 years of Yogi government, he directed
38:33the police to shut down all the meat shops
38:35during the 9 days of Navratri.
38:37He is a skill development minister in Uttar Pradesh
38:39and while interacting with
38:41SP Kumar Gyananjay Singh
38:43during the press conference,
38:45he firstly asked if meat shops
38:47remain open in Navratri
38:49to which Agarwal replied
38:51that near the temples,
38:53the meat shops remain closed
38:55and they will ensure that.
38:57Thereafter, Kapil Dev Agarwal
38:59emphasized on a point that no meat shops
39:01should be allowed to operate
39:03during the 9 days period of time
39:05when Navratri happens.
39:07This is coming at a time
39:09when we see a series of statements
39:11coming from different BJP leaders
39:13and leaders of opposition.
39:15This particular video of the minister
39:17has also gone viral on social media
39:19and we are getting multiple
39:21views on this particular issue
39:23because we see many meat owners
39:25get their daily bread
39:27on this particular business
39:29though it is justified to close
39:31the meat shops.

42:23from images to these animations but tell me this again a short answer on the
42:27debate over it how much of it is replacing the human art creativity the
42:32artists in this or is this just an addition to perhaps how technology can
42:37be pushed. So this is an ever-evolving dynamic tool we have never seen anything
42:45this before earlier as a tool which is evolving in itself if you look at it it
42:50is not a competitor it is a tool it is a very powerful tool but now after this
42:57drop I think it will become a AI collaborator I will now use what till
43:02now I've been using no no it's a tool it's a tool it's not it has become it
43:06has evolved to a collaborator now what you can do is yes I think that's a good
43:15word Nilanjan what you've used and I want to sign off with that that it's a
43:18collaborator not simply a tool look at that that's how some of our colleagues
43:23look as animations and we will be tracking more on how I can tell you this
43:27is the right now super viral everyone wants to try their animations and how
43:31they look when it comes to these cartoons all right thank you very much
43:34Nilanjan. From Sambal to Bhare in Uttar Pradesh there's a storm over
43:40fairs now celebrating the legacy of Syed Salar Masood Ghazi the nephew of
43:45invader Mehmood Ghaznavi that is now raging on there's a controversy that's
43:50erupted over his Mazar in Bahraich and more Samaj Srivastava is on the ground
43:54in Uttar Pradesh to find out what are these communal tensions really about
43:58right now and how Ghazi and Ghaznavi returning to the present discourse
44:15after the ban on the Neja Mela in Sambal the spotlight has now shifted to
44:20Bahraich in UP
44:23where the annual Jeth Mela at the Dargah of Salar Ghazi is under scrutiny
44:32nephew of Mahmood Ghaznavi Syed Salar Masood Ghazi the controversy around this
44:39name and the Magbara is high in the state of Uttar Pradesh and obviously in
44:47the country where actually the place where he died and what actually the
44:52controversy is to find out India Today TV has reached Bahraich to understand the
45:00ground reality behind this particular position situation and also at a time
45:07when there are clouds looming over the suspension of this Mela in Bahraich just
45:15like Sambhal
45:18Hindu outfits have demanded an excavation at the site claiming the
45:23existence of an ancient Suryakund and temple
45:37it's called
46:00Hindu organizations have also submitted a memorandum demanding the excavation of
46:06Salar Smazar
46:36Salar Smazar
47:06this is the place where the annual fair is held a notice outside the committee
47:34office has now been put up that states due to unforeseen reasons the event has
47:41been halted the exact place where Salar Ghazi died is though it has been
47:48converted into a proper Maza and there is yearly Mela which happens in the
47:54month of May though both communities be it Hindus or Muslims both come here in
47:59this particular Mela but these pictures from inside clearly tell you the story
48:05scenario the Mela the Nizam Mela in Sambhal has been cancelled by the
48:09administration no official word has come for the Bahraich Mela which is called
48:13the Jeth Mela which is which happens in the memory of Salar Ghazi
48:34Salar Masood Ghazi was the nephew of Mahmud Ghaznavi born during his uncle's
48:46campaign against Kannauj in 1015 AD and allegedly played a role in looting
48:53Somnath temple in Gujarat in the 11th century
49:23the controversy is not just about a Dargah or a fair it's a debate over
49:38history faith and identity with Samarth Srivastava in Bahraich UP Bureau report
49:46India Today
