00:00You know, what is it like, you know coming off of the huge success of beef
00:04But then to come on to a show also as big as the last of us
00:09I should play the lottery because pretty damn lucky very fortunate for time and space. I've worked out like this
00:20Now my bar is exponentially higher than it was before so I'm a bit spoiled in that regard
00:26I'm a little worried because I don't want to work on anything
00:31lesser than the quality of these kinds of projects and
00:34These are rare. I should say to have like the perfect amalgamation of cast crew showrunner
00:42Even though horses we work with we're dope. Okay. Shout out to lefty
00:47Shout out to Danny virtue. I hope he's doing well
00:51And yeah, I feel incredibly lucky and blessed and fortunate and I I try to write my gratitudes daily
01:00What did you write about today, I haven't had the time to write today, but I'd say I'm grateful for
01:09You know ten years ago I was
01:11working in this in the back of a restaurant in Central Park scrubbing dishes fighting for like
01:18Auditions to do one-liners and procedurals and and to to be here celebrating such a momentous
01:25Wonderful show
01:27I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful for time and space
01:31Grateful for Craig and Neil grateful for
01:36Sunshine and
01:38Water
01:40Now you don't have to do your gratitude journaling you can we'll just send you the transcript
01:44I'll write it. All right. I'll just transcribe this on my journal
01:47I mean really that was beautiful and it is very true
01:50Like this is an incredible opportunity and I I've heard you describe this season as
01:55Explosive so when you think of that word and you think of what you all did up there in Canada
02:01What was so explosive about the last of it? Well, I don't know if this is a spoiler, but I I meant that literally
02:08Yeah, there's it gets pretty literal but also figuratively I think
02:15the the emotional range and the depth of what what people experience the care what the
02:23characters experience in the show, it's
02:26expanded upon from this first season and and
02:29You know this the the cyclical nature of violence and death and vengeance and love
02:35Yeah, very Shakespearean in some ways and this craft is so well
02:40And I think people a lot of people are aware of the game and they may know what's supposed to happen. What's going to happen?
02:46it's inevitable, but that's where the genius of Craig comes in and and and
02:52storytelling and intertwining these
02:54Narratives in such a way that you may know what to expect and yet still be floored when that thing
03:00Happens or when those things occur
03:02Did you were you one of those who kind of knew what was going on going in and then you're reading the script pages and
03:08Your jaw drops when you get to page. I don't know 200 of episode 6
03:13Something like that
03:16Yeah, when I when I was reading the first episode scripts and there's a brilliant scene between Pedro and who I found out to
03:23To be someone playing played by Catherine O'Hara and then I watched it
03:29Man that's such an electric scene
03:32And that kind of a moment that kind of moment kind of kept happening
03:37Many times where I'm seated while I'm on set
03:42Absorbing it and being like people are gonna eat this up
03:46This last question is around the topic of love and and and just this incredible experience you had what is one of your favorite onset moments
03:54The first thing that comes to mind is sometimes when we're shooting in the studio, but there's supposed to be rain
04:00they have these like PVC pipes that drop fake faux rain and
04:05We have to get soaked in it
04:07before we get on to the instance of shot and there's a lot of moments where Bella and I would just like
04:14Together we just enjoy the rain
04:16Yeah, yeah, I don't know why that was such a
04:20Memorable thing for me, but I love I love that
