00:00Meanwhile, Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia is recommending that the town of Datu Odin, Sinsuat in Maguindanao del Norte, be under Comelec Control

00:19What I really don't want to happen is that Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte will be placed under Comelec Control.

00:27This is what Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said at the Datu Odin, Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte last week.

00:35The LGUs of Maguindanao agreed that their region will have a peaceful election.

00:42But today, Comelec's position has changed.

00:46I myself will recommend to the Commission and Bank that the Datu Odin, Sinsuat be placed under Comelec Control.

00:52Today, one of Comelec's election officers was shot in Maguindanao del Norte,

00:58Atty. Maceda Abo, who was married to his wife, Jojo Abo.

01:04It was also seen in the video that his wife was shot in the head.

01:09Comelec said that this is not the first time that someone was killed in the area.

01:14That's why Comelec will try to lower the tension through Comelec Control.

01:19At this point, what will be the conclusion of Comelec if it's not election-related violence?

01:31To test the power of the Commission on Elections and the length of our patience in these things.

01:38Comelec plans to implement this in the near future or before the local campaign period starts.

01:56That's why I think that Comelec Control should be implemented.

02:08They will be hurt, threatened or terrorized because Comelec will not allow such a thing.
