00:00The Justice Department believes that the application of Timor-Leste may have a big effect,
00:07as it is not allowed in ASEAN to allow the former congressman Ardolfo Tevez Jr. to return to the Philippines.
00:15Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Rebullia said it's simple.
00:19What Timor-Leste should do is simple, to allow Tevez Jr. to return to the Philippines because it's undocumented.
00:28The court also cancelled Tevez's application.
00:32They will also submit a motion for reconsideration on the decision.
00:38As of now, according to Rebullia, aside from the DOJ,
00:42other government agencies are also moving to allow the former congressman to return to the country.
00:49It is not going to be pleasant for Timor-Leste because they're applying to be in the ASEAN.
00:55And we are one of the founding fathers of ASEAN.
