00:00This is plywood that came, that penetrated all of our walls, that came
00:05through. All of our windows were obviously blown out. It is insane what Mother
00:12Nature did in just a span of minutes.
00:30Because it's wiped out everything. It's wiped out churches, it's wiped out
00:42businesses, it's wiped out homes.
00:46It was unmanageable. It was total devastation.
01:08I felt like we had just been through a war, and they dropped bombs on my town.
01:19The whole building was just gone in shambles. There's people screaming, people
01:43trying to climb out, people who are crushed. One of my girls was crushed
01:47really bad. I think they should have sent us home after the first tornado
01:50warning. It appears most were sheltering in the place that they were told to
01:54shelter. I hope that area was as safe as it could be, but this thing got hit
01:58directly by the strongest tornado we could have possibly imagined.
02:17I think it's incredibly unusual. We do see tornadoes in December. That part is
02:23not unusual, but at this magnitude, I don't think we've ever seen one this
02:28late in the year.
02:47This is going to be our new normal, and the effects that we're seeing from
02:52climate change are the crisis of our generation.
