00:00I was obsessed with the idea of being an actor and I now know that it's a very
00:06lucky thing to have ever gotten a chance to do it at all.
00:08🎵
00:17I'm very lucky, I feel grateful and lucky that I've been able to work in this job
00:26that I was just crazy about from early on and then to have stayed active and
00:33like I am now seemingly upwardly you know moving into a period of time where
00:41I feel now that I'm on the brink of my best work I'm enjoying it the most I
00:47seem to have the most choice.
00:50🎵
00:59I think Rick Alverson who directed this movie The Mountain has interest in that
01:05question I think addresses it in a poetical oblique deep way in this movie
01:12I know he's talked about you know this movie depicting the end of conventional
01:21old masculine roles gender itself as we move into the future may literally be
01:33fluid so I'm happy to see that there's a new openness and I myself am so open
01:40and delighted by new ways that people can be you know the whole idea of the
01:47individual anyway even beyond gender I know that I've put a full measure of
01:52devotion and effort into this thing that I adore doing and that's the only way
01:59from the inside out to go about being engaged and of interest maybe is staying
02:07interested in what you love to do in fact.
