00:26Darnell Frazier aimed her phone at Derek Chauvin
00:28and George Floyd and held it
00:30and recorded every minute
00:32of what Derek Chauvin did
00:34to George Floyd.
00:36Mr. Floyd should have not died.
00:38He should still be alive today.
00:40That's right.
00:42And we urge you all to stand up
00:44and fight with us.
00:46This is not a black people issue, this is a human issue.
00:52George Floyd!
00:54George Floyd!

01:00You must wake up and protect and serve!
01:02Who are you protecting?
01:04Huh?
01:06Who are you protecting?
01:08America has looted black people.
01:10America looted the Native Americans
01:12when they first came here.
01:14So looting is what you do.
01:16We learned it from you.
01:18We learned violence from you.
01:20Never, never, man, I would have thought
01:22it would have had this many people, man.
01:24But my brother, man,
01:26I don't want nobody
01:28to be protesting violently, man.
01:30You're shaming all our names,
01:32not just his name.
01:34It's bigger than my brother.
01:36Get your foot on my neck!
01:38Get your foot on my neck!
01:40I'm tired of
01:42seeing this shit on Instagram
01:44but not doing anything. I'm tired of seeing
01:46people dying for no reason
01:48and not being able to do anything about it.
01:50I've been dealing with this shit
01:52ever since I was in middle school.
01:54I first remember hearing about Trayvon Martin
01:56and it's just like it hasn't stopped since then.
01:58They might want to talk about the riots.
02:00They might want to talk about
02:02buildings burning.
02:04But we are going to talk about
02:06George Floyd.
02:14I'm here to announce that former
02:16Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin
02:18is in custody.
02:20Former Minneapolis police officer
02:22Derek Chauvin has been charged
02:24by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office
02:26with murder and with manslaughter.
02:28He has been charged with third
02:30degree murder.
02:32We cannot celebrate
02:34because an arrest
02:36is not a conviction.
02:38And we want justice.
02:40You know,
02:42we don't want partial justice.
02:44We want whole justice.
02:50George wasn't hurting anyone that day.
02:52He didn't deserve to die
02:54over $20.
02:56I'm asking you,
02:58is that what a black man
03:00is worth?
03:02$20?
03:04This is 2020.
03:06Enough is enough.
03:08Honor them. Honor
03:10George and make
03:12the necessary changes that make
03:14law enforcement the solution
03:16and not the problem.
03:18It's way past time that we
03:20revise the role of police
03:22to become peacekeepers
03:24and community partners.
03:26Members of the committee,
03:28you have the power
03:30to make this moment
03:32in history
03:34the tipping point.
03:36So many of us
03:38have been waiting for,
03:40fighting for,
03:42and praying for
03:44that Americans are marching for.
03:48I did call the police
03:50on the police.
03:52And why did you do that?
03:54Because
03:56I believe I witnessed a murder.
03:58So that is not
04:00part of our policy.
04:02That is not what we teach.
04:04And that should be condoned.
04:06The jury in the above-entitled matter
04:08has to count one unintentional
04:10second-degree murder while committing a felony.
04:12Find the defendant guilty.
04:14Third-degree murder perpetrating
04:16a dangerous act. Find the defendant guilty.
04:18Second-degree manslaughter, culpable negligence
04:20creating an unreasonable risk.
04:22Find the defendant guilty.
04:24I'm going to put up a fight every day
04:26because I'm not just fighting for
04:28George anymore, I'm fighting for
04:30everybody around this world.
04:32Today, we are able to breathe again.
