00:00I'm constantly faking my voice.
00:02I'm constantly faking my voice
00:04to sound like that 24-7.
00:15My coughing problem is because I strain my voice 24-7.
00:20And I just don't strain my voice a little bit.
00:22I strain my voice a lot.
00:24We're definitely on the right track
00:26towards changing the traditional sense of what beauty is.
00:30So being visible is very important
00:31just because if I don't do it, no one else will.
00:34And that's why I'm so visible on YouTube
00:37and I'm so open about my transition online
00:40because it's very apparent
00:41that I changed that beauty standard.
00:43And we together as a new generation
00:45helped change that beauty standard.
00:47My name is Eden Nadal and F Pretty.
00:49I am the new generation F Pretty.
00:56I am the new generation F Pretty.
01:04It was either my family or myself.
01:06And at that point, I had to choose myself
01:08over anyone, over my friends, over my family,
01:10over anyone who would disagree with my decisions.
01:13I had to choose me
01:14because I was more important at that time.
01:16Once I turned 18, I was able to actually get a job,
01:19go after what I wanted to do, start hormones,
01:21start the process,
01:22and really just do everything without anyone holding me back.
01:36So I shared my surgeries.
01:38I shared my three surgeries.
01:40I shared my surgery.
01:42I shared my surgery.
01:43I shared my surgery.
01:44I shared my experiences with my ex-boyfriend.
01:47No matter what, you know, I can't look at her
01:52and not see a woman.
01:53And I wanted people to know how, you know, normal I was,
01:56but also how very unique my situation was.
01:59So the self-conscious feelings
02:00that I felt when I was younger are still there.
02:02You know, just because I transitioned
02:04and just because I looked the way I want to look now
02:07doesn't mean that they're going to suddenly go away.
02:10Honestly, my advice for people is to compare yourself
02:13from where you first started to where you are now.
02:15And for those people that still haven't started,
02:18to just look at the bigger picture
02:20and have faith in what will be.
