00:00He's the symptom, not the cause of this, and the cause is that we have a radicalized American
00:09right that is susceptible to conspiracism, white nationalism, and white supremacy.
00:30Trump's election was going to basically take the lid off of the Pandora's box that the
00:53alt-right was opening.
00:54For them, they see him as the guy who can help them achieve their ends, which is to
01:03basically create an all-white country, to have an all-white ethnostate.
01:09They see him as the guy who can help make that happen, in large part because he's fundamentally
01:16sympathetic to the underlying sentiments.
01:21The biggest sign of their effectiveness is not the street brawls, but the mass murders.
01:26So in reality, I expect there to be more domestic terrorism of the type we saw in El Paso over
01:37the next year.
01:38I think it's going to actually increase, particularly because Donald Trump and his irresponsible
01:43rhetoric made it clear that they really aren't going to do anything to sort of tamp this
01:50down, that they're inevitably going to actually encourage it.
01:52Send her back!
01:58Send her back!
02:06It's an invasion.
02:08We have an invasion of drugs and criminals coming into our country.
02:11I was badly criticized for using the word, invasion.
02:15It's an invasion.
02:16We're on track for amendment.
02:19million illegal aliens trying to rush our borders. It is an invasion, you know that.
02:25The whole issue of purification of the society, which is what so many of the
02:30white nationalists are concerned about, because what they're really about is eliminating those
02:35impure components, which are mostly known as, you know, brown and black people.
02:42Readily dehumanizing everybody that they're talking about because they just turn
02:46all of their targets into, you know, just objects fit for elimination only.
02:52And, you know, vermin and diseases and sewage and awful, you know,
03:01that's what their rhetoric does. So on the count of three, I want you to get really loud. One, two, three.
03:07Even if Donald Trump disappears tomorrow, this problem is still going to be around
03:17for a very long time because Trump is just sort of the leading edge. But Donald Trump,
03:23I think, has awakened us all to the reality that now politics actually does affect our real lives.
03:28It affects and infects it in ways that we can't always be prepared for. Democracy is at stake.
03:37Sometimes it comes under attack. And this is one of those times.
