This inspiring 18-year-old Indian boy is in high school... Oh and he built the lightest satellite ever sent to space by NASA!
Transcript
00:00This contest was judged by the scientists and engineers in NASA.
00:06One of the scientists said, we nearly fell out of the chair.
00:11The whole weight, including the payload and the ballast, will be 64 grams.
00:30A lot of people are asking how we built this.
00:39Actually we are using a reinforced carbon fiber polymer.
00:43That's why we are using 3D printing technology.
00:50We came with the idea of creating a small satellite before 8 or 9 months.
00:54At the same time we came to know about this contest.
00:57So we thought, why not we send our idea to this competition.
01:08By breaking their limits of their imagination, they change the world.
01:17So we sent that and we selected for the launch.
01:21And today we made history.
