00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World, my name's Theo Kusumbet and today's video is all about the Manchester-based players who managed to play in the most recent England games against Albania and Latvia.
00:10Now the majority of the Manchester-related players who were called up managed to get some game time, so let's have a look.
00:15And we'll start in defence with one of the more senior players of this group, Kyle Walker, now on loan at AC Milan from Manchester City.
00:22He started against Albania and won a clean sheet and is clearly one of the leaders of the group, although he was dropped for East James who scored a spectacular free kick in the second game, even then coming off the bench though.
00:33Phil Foden started against Albania and is clearly a massive talent, but he's often flattered to see for England.
00:38His strength is clearly operating centrally with passing options to play off, but for the national team he's often forced out to the wing in favour of Bellingham being at the number 10 position.
00:47He came off the bench against Latvia in a more central role and that seemed to suit him a little bit better.
00:51Marcus Rashford started both games on the left-hand side and that's really hammering home the improvement that he's seen since signing for Villa in January.
00:58He struggled initially against Albania but became a massive threat in the Latvia game and although he was substituted off in both games, he can be optimistic about future involvement in matches with the national side.
01:08The big question for us in Manchester is, can he recapture this form for Manchester United?
01:13Morgan Rodgers was the big winner of the break. He came off the bench against Albania, started against Latvia and Bellingham was pushed deeper to account for that and he performed fairly well all things considered.
01:22It was his first start and he put in a solid performance, creating some chances and nearly scoring his first goal.
01:27Occasionally the issue would be him finding himself in the same area that Bellingham wanted to be, but that can be fixed with some game time and some practice.
01:33Neither of James Trafford or Dean Henderson were given game time, but Trafford particularly will have benefited from his involvement in the national side.
01:39So two wins, a solid start from Tuchel. What have you made of it?
01:43That's all for now, follow Manchester World for more.
