00:10He's the singing realtor, Menchie Gonzalez.

00:15But why is he a singing realtor?

00:18Aside from being a singer and a performer,

00:21he's also a real estate agent.

00:24Menchie's story is that he was just a kid when he fell in love with singing.

00:29But as he's getting older,

00:31he chose to focus more on his work as a realtor.

00:37But after a few years,

00:39he's still looking for a job as a singer.

00:42So now, he's back to his first love,

00:46and he's now working as a performer and a realtor.

01:24How did your love for singing start?

01:28My mom was the one who gave me the fulfillment of my dreams.

01:37When I was a kid, she really wanted me to sing.

01:40Actually, what I really wanted was to become a doctor and a lawyer.

01:44So, when I was a kid, she would take me to singing contests.

01:49And then after that,

01:50I would win,

01:51I would lose,

01:52I would win.

01:53And then after that,

01:54while I'm studying,

01:55I'm still participating in singing contests

01:57because I'm the breadwinner in my family.

02:00Oh, okay.

02:01So, after that,

02:02during my teenage life,

02:04I continued to participate in singing contests.

02:09And then,

02:10when I was in college,

02:11we had financial problems in our family

02:15because we had to move house.

02:19We don't have a permanent home.

02:21So, I decided that I needed to help my family

02:27so that our dreams would come true.

02:38We were able to save money.

03:43I worked as a realtor.

03:48I listened to coaching to learn.

03:51I didn't know anything about the real estate business.

03:54So, when I learned,

03:56I said,

03:57I'm looking for my passion again.

04:06when you're old,

04:08you don't need to return your passion.

04:11So, as long as you have a voice,

04:13you can take care of yourself,

04:15you can take care of your talent,

04:17you can return it.

04:19That's why I tried again.

04:20I joined concerts.

04:22So, we have concerts coming up.
