00:00The BIFAR-Philippine Coast Guard's humanitarian mission in Bajo de Macinlok did not go unnoticed yesterday.

00:06They were able to provide assistance to Filipinos fishing, such as crude oil and other foods, while the ships of China were just docked.

00:21Supporting the distribution of assistance from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, or BIFAR, to Filipino fishermen,

00:29the maritime domain awareness flight of their Cessna Caravan Plane this Monday in the West Philippine Sea,

00:35the ships of BIFAR, BRP Datu Tamblot, BRP Datu Pagbuhaya, BRP Datu Sumkad, and BRP Datu Balensusa,

00:44were sent to the vicinity of Bajo de Macinlok, or Panatagsola, for the humanitarian mission.

00:52Aside from the four ships of BIFAR, the BRP Bagacay of the Philippine Coast Guard also accompanied them.

00:59The MDA flight will reach the 26 ships of the Philippine Fishing Village,

01:05which is a beneficiary of the assistance provided, such as crude oil and other foods.

01:10But they were also surrounded by the ships of the China Coast Guard.

01:15Up to five ships of the China Coast Guard were surrounded by the ships of BIFAR, BCG, and the fishing boats,

01:2330 nautical miles from Bajo de Macinlok, where the activity was carried out.

01:28The warship of the People's Liberation Army, or PLA Navy of China, was also near.

01:34In the middle of the MDA flight, it landed above the lagoon of Escarpura Shoal.

01:41The military helicopter of China, which was recognized by the PLA Naval Air Force, was again spotted.

01:48But unlike the past incidents, the so-called military helicopter did not stop at the airplane of BIFAR.

01:58I would like to believe that the PLA Navy learned its lesson from the dangerous maneuvering they did last month.

02:10I would like to believe that the publication of such dangerous maneuvering done by the helicopter was widely criticized by other countries.

02:24So I think they also recognize that such unprofessional dangerous maneuver is reckless and very dangerous,

02:34not just on the part of the Philippine aircraft, but even for the People's Republic of China.

02:41Inside the lagoon, there are two Chinese maritime militia vessels that are attached to each other.

02:49China also did not leave. It placed a floating barrier at the mouth of the shoal.

02:55We have shown that the floating barrier is dependent on the deployment of the Coast Guard vessel and the deployment of the BIFAR vessel.

03:06So they are thinking that the Filipino fishermen will try to enter the shoal of Bajo de Mosilmo.

03:16The regular maritime domain awareness flight, as per the BIFAR, is part of the right of the Philippines to our exclusive economic zone,

03:25which is part of the Scarborough Shoal of Bajo de Mosilmo.

03:29The participation of the Philippine fishermen living in the West Philippine Sea will continue.

03:37This is also a good opportunity for us to encourage more Filipino fishing vessels in Sambalis and Pangasinan to come here to get assistance from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
