00:00Threats by some conservatives to try to impeach some of these judges, and is that appropriate?
00:05Is that a bridge too far?
00:06Look, everything is on the table.
00:08Impeachment is an extraordinary measure.
00:10We're looking at all the alternatives that we have to address this problem.
00:14Activist judges are a serious threat to our system.
00:17It has increased in number. It has increased in intensity.
00:20If you look at the statistics that the White House shared,
00:23they looked at over the last 100 years, 67% of injunctions were issued against one president.
00:29His name is Donald J. Trump.
00:31And of those, I think the number was 92% of that number were by known, partisan, Democrat-appointed judges to the bench.
00:38This is not the way the system is supposed to work.
00:41So we're going to have hearings to highlight the abuses.
00:43I suspect that we may wind up questioning some of these judges themselves to have them defend their actions.
00:50And then we'll see about limiting the scope of federal injunctions.
00:53One judge should not be able to suspend and uphold everything that a president does on their agenda.
00:58I think the American people agree with that.
00:59You're concerned about Trump officials, top Trump officials, transmitting classified war plans on unsecured channels.
01:06Listen, the administration, as I understand, I just was with the president in the Oval Office just now.
01:10The administration is addressing what happened apparently in an inadvertent phone number, made it onto that thread.
01:15They're going to track that down and make sure that it doesn't happen again.
01:18What you did see, though, I think, was top-level officials doing their job, doing it well, and executing on a plan with precision.
01:27That mission was a success.
01:29No one was jeopardized because of it.
01:32We're grateful for that.
01:33But they will certainly, I'm sure, make sure that that doesn't happen again.
01:35But they're talking on signal, not in response.
01:38Look, I'm not going to characterize what happened.
01:43Clearly, I think the administration has acknowledged it was a mistake.
01:46And they'll tighten up and make sure it doesn't happen again.
01:48I don't know what else you can say about that.
01:49Should Mike Walton accept the discipline?
01:51No, no.
01:52You've got a long way to go on reconciliation.
01:54Are you sticking by the idea this is going to be done in three weeks?
01:56I'm moving this as aggressively as possible.
01:59Is that going to be done this week, though?
02:00That's the end of the work week.
02:01The House and Senate are in the process of coordinating.
02:07We are one team.
02:08There is no daylight between us.
02:09I know the media is trying to portray this as some sort of big dispute.
02:13It's not.
02:14We have tremendous respect.
02:15I have tremendous respect for the senators over there, Republican senators, who are trying to do the same job that we are,
02:20and that is deliver on the America First agenda, the reconciliation process.
02:24That one big beautiful bill is the way that we'll do it.
02:26And so we are coordinating all the efforts together to make sure the two chambers are aligned.
02:30There are lots of good ideas.
02:31There are lots of bright minds working on this.
02:33We have the next several weeks to do that.
02:34This is all part of the process.
02:36We are right on time.
02:37I have said originally I would like to get the bill to the President's desk before Easter.
02:42If that doesn't happen, it is not the end of the world.
02:45We are doing this quickly.
02:46Why?
02:47Because we have to deliver for the American people.
02:49This is the bill that will settle the markets.
02:51It will help the economy flourish even more than it already is.
02:54We'll make sure that the border is secure.
02:56We'll make sure we maintain peace through strength.
02:58And we'll make sure we don't have the largest tax increase in U.S. history all at once.
03:01So high important priorities that we're working on.
03:05We've got to meet consensus and agreement amongst many different parties to do that, but we will.
03:10You guys have always underestimated us.
03:12Don't underestimate us on this one.
03:14It's going to get done.
03:15Thanks, guys.
03:16We'll see you guys later.
