00:00But here's Derek Queen who hit the game winning bucket. And
00:03sometimes Scotty, it's very simple. Why do you like love
00:06your head coach so much? Well, you know, he gets me the bag.
00:09First, um, he did pay us the money. So we got so we got to
00:16listen to him. And we all trust him because he's like a player
00:20coach. And then he want nothing but the best for us. And he
00:26just coaches hard. He talked to us other than basketball. He's
00:30always there and just wanted to win. Listen, I will never I will
00:34never agree with I'm done with this whole paying these players
00:40stuff. You get paid to be a pro. And now they pay these college
00:45kids. And let me tell you something, I'm going to say it
00:47again for the umpteenth time. I mean, that kid that kid hasn't
00:51gone to class since he was in junior high school. He's not
00:56going to no classes in College Park. I can guarantee you that
00:59he's driving a Maserati and they're paying him $2 million to
01:01play basketball in College Park. It's just absolutely the
01:05stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life that they pay these
01:08kids now. It's it's it's just it is bastardized college sports
01:14like nothing else. Football and basketball. I will never agree
01:18with it. So go to hell if you don't like it. I don't I will
01:22never agree. Do you understand like my entire life all they did
01:27was you got a free ride, you got an education. I was at Indiana
01:32Bob Knight, there was not one kid. Not one kid didn't
01:36graduate that played for Bob Knight. Do you realize that 100%
01:41of the kids that played for Bob Knight got a degree. And about
01:461% of them went pro. 99% of them started a life and a career
01:52and a job and a family and like the real things in life that
01:55matter. Giving these kids millions of dollars. You have
02:00heard one coach after the next Steve Alford when he and go
02:03figure Steve Alford played for a night. Steve Alford said it's
02:06the worst thing that's ever happened to college sports that
02:10he goes I can't these kids have no clue and when the money is
02:14over and they don't go pro and they run out of the money and
02:19then they got to work at Wendy's then they end up killing
02:23themselves. They don't know what to do without the money. They
02:26lose their minds. They start committing crimes. They start
02:31doing drugs. They become alcoholics and wife beaters.
02:37They don't have any clue how to live life and to be successful
02:41in life. They have no components whatsoever of how to
02:45adjust to being a normal person because they have been yes to
02:49death their entire life and now they're feeding them cash to
02:53play college. The first thing the kid said was he gave us the
02:57money. He doesn't care about those kids. He cares about
03:00winning and getting that next big check himself. This is not
03:05Jim Balvana who actually loved his players. This is not the way
03:10it used to be. And you can say whatever you want. Oh the times
03:14have changed. Times have ruined college sports. Ruined it.
03:21Ruined it. Do you realize half of the kids that get paid make
03:28more money in college than they would in their first deal as a
03:33pro? Why even go pro? Just stay in college and keep raking and
03:39realize this. Again I'm going to say it like I'm repeating
03:42myself like a broken record. Like 95% of them have no chance
03:48to go pro at all. None. And the money's going to dry up.
