'Below Deck's Captain Sandy gives her tips for fighting sea sickness, plus how she commands the ship as captain and gets the crew to listen to her.
Transcript
00:00Would love to know if you have any great tips on combating seasickness.
00:04Yes, look at the horizon. So don't look down. Don't go below deck.
00:10Come above deck. Look out.
00:14And ginger root really works. And of course Dramamine. I'm just saying.
00:19Maybe not drink a lot. Or drink a lot and pass out. Either way.
00:23Is it hard to wrangle the crew? I feel like that's a hard job.
00:27I don't think it's hard to wrangle the crew when you talk about the cash you're going to make.
00:31And also when the crew join the boat, they really want to work.
00:35But as the season goes on, as you can see, they start getting into their love drama and their breakup drama.
00:42The work drama. And it's a little harder to wrangle.
00:45But when I walk in the room, the presence of the captain seems to make them wrangle.
00:50Do you have any tips for women on creating that sense of dominance and confidence?
00:55I think it's just lead with kindness.
00:59I think lead by showing them what you want from them.
01:03It's really being what you want them to be.
01:07That's really the trick. That is the magic.
01:10Which Housewives cast would you love to host on the boat?
01:14Cast?
01:16Or cast. The whole cast as a whole.
01:18I'm going with Lisa Barlow because she makes me laugh.
01:21You know, I'm not really an outdoor mountain girl.
01:24My version of outdoors is sitting on a beach with a cabana, with service.
01:30Okay, so Salt Lake?
01:31Salt Lake.
01:32Oh, that could be dramatic.
01:33It's fun.
01:34Yeah, it would be fun.
01:35I mean, I would love it.
01:36I would tune right in.
