00:00The Department of Transportation is grateful for the decision of North Duzon Expressway to free the NLEX-Marilao segment
00:09while fixing the broken bridge after a big truck collided last Wednesday.
00:14DOTR Secretary Vince Dizon also agreed to finish the repair of the broken bridge within a week,
00:21instead of two or three weeks.
00:23As part of the repair, the NLEX plans to install vertical steel support on the Marilao Interchange Bridge
00:30while adding a line on the northbound so that the traffic can move smoothly.
00:37The NLEX also plans to install a metal barrier on the toll road so that the incident will not happen again
00:43from Lawang Bato in Valenzuela towards Marilao Interchange.
00:47Three lines will be opened while there will be a zipper lane after Valenzuela Interchange.
00:53Only Class 1 vehicles will be allowed to pass through Marilao Interchange
00:57towards MacArthur Highway and San Juan del Monte.
