00:00Ryan Reynolds called Justin Baldoni a predator.
00:03"...doubling down on claims. Justin is a predator."
00:06"...and Ryan's accusing the It Ends With Us director of, quote, thin-skinned outrage."
00:12Ryan Reynolds is not holding back when it comes to defending his wife, Blake Lively.
00:16"...Deadpool filed a motion to be dismissed from Justin
00:19Baldoni's lawsuit that also includes his wife and her publicist."
00:23In a bold move, Ryan Reynolds talked back at Justin Baldoni,
00:27calling him out in a blistering filing that demands Ryan be removed
00:31from Justin's massive $400 million suit.
00:34The suit, which has turned into a full-fledged Hollywood showdown,
00:38started when Blake Lively sued Justin in December 2024.
00:41"...Blake Lively accusing her It Ends With Us co-star and director,
00:45Justin Baldoni, of trying to ruin her reputation."
00:48Accusing him of spearheading a campaign against her
00:50after tensions on the set of It Ends With Us.
00:53Justin retaliated with his own suit, dragging both Blake and Ryan into the drama,
00:58as well as the New York Times, which published an article supporting Blake's claims.
01:03But now, Ryan is talking back, and he's not mincing words.
01:07Ryan Reynolds is making it clear he wants no part in the legal battle between his wife,
01:11Blake Lively, and Justin Baldoni.
01:13In his filing, he calls himself a supportive husband, who has watched firsthand as Justin's
01:18alleged actions have caused emotional and professional damage to Blake.
01:23But he doesn't stop there.
01:25Ryan also argues that he has every right to hold a very low opinion of Justin,
01:30because of what he put Blake through.
01:32Ryan goes on to criticize Justin's suit, calling it an attempt to shame him
01:37for doing exactly what a supportive husband should do, stand up for his wife.
01:42He argues that the only reason Justin included him in the suit
01:45was because Steve Sarawitz, the co-founder of Justin's production company,
01:49pledged $109 million to ruin him and Blake.
01:54According to Ryan, the suit is nothing more than a public relations stunt
01:58filled with exaggerated claims meant to grab headlines.
02:03One of the most explosive moments in Ryan filing
02:06is his response to claims that he called Justin a predator.
02:11Ryan doesn't deny saying it.
02:13In fact, he doubles down, stating that he genuinely believes it to be true.
02:19His team argues that this is protected speech,
02:21and that his statements are based on Justin's own public confessions about his past behaviors.
02:28To make his point, Ryan brings up several past interviews in which Justin
02:32openly discussed his struggles with unhealthy attitudes toward women and consent.
02:38In a 2023 YouTube interview, Justin admitted,
02:42I'm sure I've crossed boundaries and lines in my teens and 20s, not even thinking about it.
02:47He also discussed his past addiction to inappropriate content,
02:51and how it shaped his perspective.
02:54Ryan takes these statements seriously,
02:56arguing that they paint a picture of someone who has acknowledged problematic behavior.
03:00He also points to Justin's past remarks about masculinity,
03:04in which he admitted to using disrespectful language when talking about women,
03:09and that he had not always treated women the way they deserved to be treated.
03:14But the most unexpected twist in the drama?
03:17Justin's outrage over a movie character.
03:20According to his suit, Justin believes Ryan mocked him in Deadpool and Wolverine
03:24by introducing Nice Pool, a satirical character with a man bun,
03:29which Justin claims was meant to be a parody of him.
03:33Ryan, in response, shrugs it off as nonsense, calling Justin's reaction thin-skinned,
03:39and suggesting that the suit is more about hurt feelings than an actual claim.
03:45He even goes as far as to describe Justin's 179-page complaint
03:49as nothing more than a burn book, filled with grievances
03:53and attempts to shame him for supporting his wife.
03:56Ryan doesn't back down.
03:58He makes it clear that he has every right to stand by Blake,
04:01and to believe what he does about Justin.
04:04He points out that his comments weren't baseless attacks,
04:07but rather based on Justin's own words about his past actions.
04:12As this heats up, it's clear that there's no love lost between these two.
04:18What started as a suit over a film set dispute,
04:21has now escalated into a full-blown Hollywood feud,
04:24with two of the industry's biggest names going head to head.
04:28And while Justin is trying to salvage his reputation,
04:31Ryan is making it loud and clear.
04:34He's not backing down, and he will always stand up for Blake Lively, no matter what.
04:39Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds say they have nothing to hide and have no regrets.
04:48This was a little strange to hear.
04:49I'm not picking sides or saying one person is innocent,
04:52but I think this all could have been handled a little bit better.
04:55Blake Lively's been getting a ton of responses after filming It Ends With Us,
04:58and her recent lawsuit with Justin Baldoni only made things worse.
05:02People are having a hard time picking sides in this messy fight,
05:05but Blake's apparently not letting it get to her.
05:07She's still standing tall and confident.
05:09I don't know how, I was super curious,
05:11so I really wanted to know the opinion of soul coach and celebrity expert, Cerise Fairfax.
05:16She's amazing, and this is what she had to say.
05:20Hey there, Jess.
05:21Hey there, FTD news fans.
05:23Cerise here.
05:25Wow.
05:25So Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, don't feel bad.
05:30They have no regrets in regards to this whole entire situation.
05:36Well, there are always three sides to each story.
05:40You know, there's Blake's side, Justin's side,
05:42and then of course the truth lies there in the middle.
05:46Allegedly, she was s-e-xually harassed.
05:51Now, my opinion on that is, Blake, why did you tell so many months later?
05:59Why did you complain so many months later?
06:02For me, it seems like it was a little bit retaliative.
06:05It seemed like she was trying to retaliate on her thinking she was being astroturfed.
06:13She was being smeared.
06:15So she's like, oh, you're going to smear me?
06:18Okay, well now I'm going to tell everyone what you did to me.
06:22And that didn't work out for her.
06:24And that's where it becomes very questionable.
06:27Because if she just came right out and said it from the very beginning,
06:33I didn't want to say anything during the filming process.
06:36But now post filming, I want to come out and tell everyone this is what happened.
06:42And she could have wrote an article about that.
06:45But no, she went and she made a grievance months after she felt she was being smeared online
06:53from Justin's team.
06:55So she was retaliating.
06:57And that is where it becomes sticky and shady.
07:01Moreover, the fact that she has to ask for two and a half years of text messages
07:07of Justin Baldoni's is just blowing my mind.
07:11It's like, Blake, you went and made a grievance that he's smearing you.
07:16And also, Essie actually harassed you.
07:20And you need receipts from him?
07:22You're looking for a needle in the haystack.
07:26Because you need to use that needle to sew your case together.
07:30And they don't regret anything.
07:34I think the regret is maybe waiting too long.
07:37If it really did happen, waiting too long to report it.
07:42And I think that's what has most people angered because they feel like she is retaliating.
07:48Oh, well, we're going to have to deal with this for another entire year.
07:52Because March 2026 is when they go to court.
07:56And that is when a lot of the truth will be revealed.
08:00Have a great day, guys.
08:02Make today count.
08:04Her sister Cerise's channel on YouTube is incredible.
08:06Let me know if you check her out.
08:08Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, feel they have nothing to hide
08:12while facing the legal drama with Justin Baldoni.
08:15This is also why they decided to grace their presence at SNL 50 as well.
08:19However, they appear unaware that this turn of events could be used against them.
08:24Of all the questionable stunts that this couple have pulled off,
08:28the most recent one was when the married couple showed up to SNL 50,
08:32the anniversary special, which had many stars celebrating 50 years of Saturday Night Live.
08:36The reason behind this being debatable is her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
08:41People question how she could still be in La La Land making light of everything that's happening.
08:45Sources close to Blake say she really doesn't realize how badly this could affect her career.
08:50This red carpet appearance was notably Blake and Ryan's first one ever,
08:54since Blake filed against Justin Baldoni and accused him of waging a smear campaign against
08:59her. That said, even an insider didn't hesitate to comment to page 6 that the pair,
09:04who have been married since 2012 and share 4 children together, should have sat this one out.
09:08However, Blake and Ryan appear to have no regrets about it at all.
09:12As the source continued to spill the beans to the outlet, Blake Lively and her husband
09:16Ryan Reynolds reportedly have no regrets about making an appearance to the event,
09:20and they're glad that they showed up because they have nothing to hide and no reason not to.
09:24Blake Lively was hesitant to attend the anniversary show.
09:27Apparently after she went, she was happy that she did. That is also to say that Blake and
09:31Ryan were the two of the last people to leave studio 8H where SNL is being filmed. They walked
09:37out with Paul McCartney and his wife, a bunch of other crew members, and asked to take pictures
09:41with Ryan, which he happily did. Despite the backlash that they're getting for doing this,
09:45they are super confident that they have done nothing wrong, have nothing to hide,
09:48and apparently have nothing to worry about. I think Blake asking for two years of text
09:52from Justin Baldoni is a pretty big reach, and I think it does show that she does have
09:57some things to worry about. But while both Blake and Ryan seem to be doing everything to increase
10:02the ever so thinning support that they have, as new evidence continues to unfold, this public
10:08outing and comment Ryan made could actually land the pair in further legal trouble with Justin.
10:13Ryan Reynolds made a joke about the lawsuit. He reportedly made a thinly veiled, joking reference
10:19to Justin Baldoni and Blake's ongoing lawsuit with him in a Q&A skit with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey
10:25during the event. When Amy Poehler asked Ryan Reynolds, how's it going, his response was,
10:30great, before he paused to add, why? What have you heard? Seemingly referencing the legal battle.
10:37While that was that, now a source is claiming to page 6 that this very comment and legal outing may
10:42attract further legal action from Justin's legal team. The insider said its very plausible that
10:47Justin's legal team will use this public outing to defend Justin Baldoni. All the while emphasizing
10:52Justin is taking this lawsuit in all seriousness, he's not making a public mockery out of it.
10:57That's not all, for even Baldonis lawyer Brian Friedman came clean about his thoughts on this
11:02comment and he did not hold back. During an interview with Hot Mics with Billy Bush,
11:07Brian candidly said, I'm unaware of anybody, frankly, whose wife has been through what Blake
11:13is claiming to go through and has made jokes about that type of situation. I can't think of
11:18anyone who's done anything like that, so it surprised me. That said, while Ryan and Blake
11:23may show that they have nothing to hide, things might get ugly for them amidst this ongoing legal
11:28battle, especially when they're cracking jokes about it. Blake Lively caught trying to make her
11:32marriage look perfect with Ryan Reynolds. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, they've always been
11:37the picture of marital bliss, love, and fireworks, and romance, and my husband is the only man I've
11:42ever known who sees life that way. With their witty banter, adorable social media posts,
11:51but lately something has shifted. The public's starting to wonder if their perfect marriage
11:56is just a carefully crafted illusion. Remember when everyone was obsessed with their witty banter
12:01and adorable displays of affection? Well, now it's starting to feel a little forced. Their marriage
12:06updates are being called messy PR, like they're giving us a behind-the-scenes look at their PR
12:10team scrambling to keep up their squeaky clean image, and boy are they trying hard. We're talking
12:16constant, glowing tributes to each other, especially on birthdays and anniversaries. They're always
12:21downplaying any disagreements, pretending they have healthy discourse. They claim their partners
12:25in everything from personal life to professional adventures, and of course, they never forget to
12:30call each other best friends. It's like they're reading from a script, and honestly, it's starting
12:34to feel a little repetitive. Is Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's relationship genuine? That's the
12:39million-dollar question. Celebrity love coach Nicole Moore suggests that we should think about
12:44this. She said that the public displays are all about maintaining a positive public perception
12:49and nipping any rumors of trouble in the bud. Makes sense, right? If you constantly tell everyone
12:53how happy you are, they're more likely to believe it. Nicole Moore also points out that genuine
12:58posts feel natural, while staged photos and scripted captions seem less authentic, and let's
13:04be real, some of their posts definitely feel staged. Like that birthday photo of Blake with half her
13:10face cut off, or Blake joking about Ryan's pie and candle blowing technique. Don't even get me
13:15started on the find me a better friend Valentine's Day post. It's like they're trying too hard to
13:19prove they're the perfect couple, and then there's the timing. Moore suggests that posting only on
13:23holidays or after a scandal can seem like damage control, like they're trying to cover something up,
13:28and if they were silent, well silence can be seen as an omission of problems, so they're playing it
13:33safe. I asked Toronto-based comedian actor Sebastian Deary what his thoughts were about the whole Ryan,
13:38Justin, and Blake drama. He always has something witty to say, and what he said was, Justin's team
13:43are coming out with so many receipts it's starting to look like the refund line for the Green Lantern.
13:48Remember the whole It Ends With Us promotion where Blake revealed Ryan wrote a scene, and the
13:52original screenwriter was apparently clueless? It's like they're trying to rewrite the narrative to
13:57make themselves look even more perfect. It's a classic Hollywood move, but it's starting to wear
14:02thin, so what's really going on here? Are Blake and Ryan truly the perfect couple they portray
14:07themselves to be, or are they just masters of PR carefully crafting an image to protect their
14:11reputations? The article suggests they might be overcompensating trying to build a perfect marriage
14:16image to counteract any negative rumors. And let's not forget about Justin Baldoni and Ryan Reynolds
14:22jealousy rumors. Blake was working closely with him, and let's be honest, they looked pretty cozy
14:28on set. Now Ryan's known for his playful jealousy, but could there be more to it at this time? Is all
14:35this perfect marriage PR a way to overcompensate for some underlying tension? Is he trying to prove
14:40to everyone, and maybe even himself, that everything's fine even if it's not? Could the constant best
14:46friends narrative be a way to downplay any lingering insecurities? It's all speculation, of
14:50course, but in Hollywood, where appearances are everything, even the slightest hint of jealousy
14:55can send the rumor mill into overdrive. Are Blake and Ryan trying to manage public perception amid
15:01scandals? Are they trying to hide cracks in their relationship, or are they simply playing the
15:05Hollywood game knowing that perception is reality? Whatever the reason, their constant displays of
15:10affection are starting to feel less like genuine love and more like a carefully orchestrated
15:14performance. The public is starting to see through it, and honestly, who can blame them?
15:18In a world where everything is filtered and curated, it's hard to believe anything is truly authentic.
