00:44What's happening here is that U.S. citizens are exercising their free speech in a peaceful
01:02way to protest what's happening with Elon Musk and Donald Trump and the undermining
01:08of our democracy, the cutting of services, the cutting of foreign aid, the cutting of
01:12free speech, the threatening of judges, and all the things that are happening that are
01:18undermining democracy and our place in the world.
01:43We are protesting this authoritarian regime with joy.
01:51One of the things that authoritarians like to do is to squash dissent, they like to put
01:56in salt and still fear, and we have no fear because we are free, we are Americans, we
02:02have our First Amendment rights, and we are just coming out with joy and showing other
02:07people that they're not alone.
02:13I'm going to take you to a place I've never been in.
02:27Elon Musk has given us the gift of almost 300 locations all over the country that we
02:32can show up on a Saturday morning and protest.
02:34It's as simple as that.
02:36It's a very simple, grassroots, peaceful, organic movement.
02:43And we don't have to get a permit because we're on our public sidewalks and we don't
02:49have to do a lot of planning, people just show up.
