00:00The Social Security System, or SSS, helped the Commission of Filipinos Overseas, or CFO,
00:07to provide protection to the Social Security for job order, or JO, and contract of service, or COS, workers in the government.
00:17Under the agreement, the JO and COS workers in the CFO will be registered as self-employed members of the SSS
00:27through the SSSangga Collection Program.
00:31As self-employed members of the SSS, the JO and COS workers will have access to a comprehensive range of benefits in Social Security,
00:43including benefits for illness, pregnancy, disability, retirement, living, and death.
00:50Aside from this, they will also be able to apply for various SSS programs, such as Salary and Calamity Loans,
00:58which provide financial security in various situations in life.
01:02Aside from this, the SSS also said that they will receive additional coverage from the Employees' Compensation Program
01:10for illnesses, pregnancy, or death as a result of work.
01:14The SSS also said that regular employees of the CFO will have the opportunity to continue paying their contributions to the SSS
01:23as voluntary members under the SSSangga Collection Program.
