00:00You're not going to scare me to death, are you?
00:08Everybody's slipping focus now, though.
00:11It works as a tongue-trayer, doesn't it?
00:14Hee, yee, hee, yee.
00:16You want to kick us off? There's a mic to go round to. Anybody?
00:21Right, imagine someone had a performance today.
00:24Would you go and hang in there for three points and take a little dip?
00:28Yeah, it's always a feeling when you concede late of disappointment,
00:33but I think the bigger context of the game is we did a lot well.
00:36I thought we had a good couple of opportunities in the first half,
00:42restricted Everton to not too much.
00:45We were a little bit deep for our liking in the first half,
00:48so we changed that a bit in the second half.
00:50I thought it helped us a bit.
00:52I thought we played well in the second half and scored a good goal
00:55and had some other opportunities.
00:57I can't remember Fon having too many saves,
01:00but at the same time, at Everton, when you're 1-0 with the crowd as they are
01:06and the atmosphere here, it's not easy.
01:09Balls are going in your box and you're feeling the pressure
01:11when there maybe isn't that much going on,
01:13but because of the atmosphere, it makes it difficult.
01:16I thought we did it well, but at the same time, one lapse and you concede.
01:21Overall, we have to stick to the positives and accept the points.
01:25Just a last one from me.
01:26It's your 10th game in charge now.
01:28How do you sum up the first ten days?
01:31It's been enjoyable.
01:32It's been challenging for different reasons,
01:34but some things we've done well and some things we can improve,
01:39as you'd expect.
01:41The start point, I think, for us was to be a bit more defensively solid
01:46because we were conceding too many goals over a period of time.
01:49I think when you're in that situation,
01:51it's hard to talk about attacking football and anything else
01:54you want to speak about.
01:56So I think we've made steps towards improving that, some big steps.
02:02The last four matches, we picked up seven points,
02:04so again, that's quite good.
02:05But there's always room to improve, always room to improve.
02:11Greg, you mentioned the atmosphere.
02:13Obviously, this ground is closing in a few games,
02:16four or five games left here.
02:17Do you get the impression it's ramped up even more?
02:20Or has it always been like this?
02:21Goodison has always been a tough place to come and hold the lead.
02:24I think it's always been tough, to be honest.
02:27I thought our performance quieted things down a bit,
02:32and obviously scoring helped.
02:33But at 1-0, the crowd here have always been...
02:37They're in the game because of them.
02:39I have huge respect for the support here they get.
02:43As an away ground, it's as tough as it gets
02:46when the crowd are up and at you.
02:50But at the same time, like I said, I thought our performance was strong.
02:54We probably edged the game.
02:56But at the same time, if you don't score the second,
02:58anything can happen in football.
02:59And in the end, we could have come here and I could have been crying
03:03because we could have lost.
03:04So that's football, certainly here.
03:07There's emotion, and that's why it's an emotional...
03:11They're all emotional events because we know there's not many here.
03:15So for us, it's a privilege to be here and experience it.
03:18But at the same time, we wanted to get three points.
03:23Can I just ask what you made of the penalty decision
03:25and the VAR reversal of that?
03:27I haven't seen it, but everybody said he kicked the floor.
03:30So then if he kicks the floor, then it's not a penalty.
