00:00Hey, George, let's take a look over on the FanDuel Sportsbook
00:02and take a look at where things stand.
00:04So Mike Trout is the favorite at plus 350.
00:07But I got to tell you, man, like Jacob DeGrom staring at me
00:10at plus 420.
00:12Felix Bautista is back and staring at me at plus 500.
00:16Bo Bichette.
00:17I'm going to stop there because I think the rest are, you know,
00:19too big of long shots.
00:20But man, there's some really good potential comeback players
00:24here.
00:24Who do you like?
00:26Yeah, I mean, listen, if you tell me Mike Trout's playing
00:29120 games, it's Trout.
00:30It'll be Trout easy.
00:31If you tell me DeGrom's making 23 starts, it'll be DeGrom.
00:35All right, McClanahan.
00:36Listen, I really like McClanahan.
00:38I don't know if he's got enough pizzazz, enough, you know,
00:42enough highlights there to do it.
00:43Bautista is not going to pitch on back-to-back games in
00:46the beginning here.
00:47It's closed for anyway.
00:48I do kind of like Bo Bichette here, but he's the, I guess,
00:52less of the names here.
00:53I mean, to get over Trout and DeGrom, any of these other
00:56guys are going to have to have bigger seats and hope those
00:58guys don't play.
00:59You know, they get hurt again.
01:00I said, I don't think it's DeGrom.
01:04I can't go.
01:04DeGrom's not making 24 starts.
01:06He's just not.
01:07I hope he does, mind you.
01:08Why I got him on fancy.
01:09I really hope he does, but I don't think it will be.
01:12I'm leaning to one of the bats here.
01:13Trout or Boichette here.
01:15That's going to be bigger on the Blue Jays than I really
01:17want to be here.
01:18I think Boichette could have a really big bounce back here,
01:20but he has to have that bounce back here and Trout not play.
01:23You know, can Trout play 125 games?
01:26I'm not even asking that much.
01:26That's two IL stints.
01:28Can he play 125 games?
01:29He'll win this award if he does here.
01:31By the way, in my home league, Trout still went a third round.
01:34That was probably the biggest, couldn't believe he went that
01:35earlier for those who are wondering here.
01:38Give me Boichette.
01:38Give me the 7-1 on Boichette.
01:41All right, 7-1 on Boichette.
01:42I know George is a little more bullish on Toronto than some.
01:45You know, Shane Bieber interesting on a one-year deal.
01:4722-1 to win in the American League as well.
01:50All right, in the National League, it's pretty cut and dry.
01:51You got two Braves in the top three.
01:53Ronald Acuna Jr.
01:54Plus 250 and you also have Spencer Strider at plus 550 and
02:00then Sandy Alcantara who has been fantastic for the Marlins
02:03in the spring and I would guess will be fantastic in the
02:06regular season.
02:07He is plus 400.
02:08Can you go deeper behind that?
02:10No, right?
02:12I mean Strider is supposed to pitch in late April.
02:14So theoretically he could come back and be the Strider again,
02:16which is a little tough at the TJ when you first come back.
02:20He could be in this mix as well here.
02:22Acuna is not playing till mid-May and he's already
02:24told you he's probably not stealing bases as wildly as he
02:27did.
02:28You know, he's made those comments a couple of times here.
02:31So I think really that he ought to be reversed.
02:33I think Alcantara should be 250 and Acuna should be 400.
02:38So I'll go with Alcantara.
02:40He started from day one.
02:40You already said it.
02:41He looks great.
02:43All right, I mean, it looks like, oh my God, this guy's,
02:46you know, if the Marlins could get him two runs, they're
02:48winning the game, you know, that kind of guy where he looks
02:51legit, you know, I keep making the jokes here as a Yankee
02:53fan, you know, he's gonna be a Yankee, gonna be a Yankee.
02:55He's not, the Yankees are on the prospects to get him, but
02:57I do think he's gonna be moved at some point this year.
02:59I would love him to be a Yankee, but he is, I mean, he's
03:02not the best pitcher in baseball.
03:04He's top three, you know, in my opinion.
03:06I love Sandy.
03:07I know it's Miami, maybe they don't get the pub and Acuna
03:10and Strider get more publicity, but I think it's Sandy.
03:12He started from day one.
03:14That's my vote.
03:15Yeah, I would agree.
03:16I think it's a great, great call there by you.
03:20You know, it's hard.
03:22I don't like taking favorites, but Ronald Acuna plus 250.
03:25It does seem like if he just plays from May on, maybe the
03:27guy that I would go with, you know, Jung-Hoo Lee, not likely.
03:31I would agree there.
03:31What about Woodruff at plus 650, George?
03:34Such a good pitcher, went healthy.
03:35I guess, what's his timetables?
03:37Sometime it's, you would have to hope at some point he can
03:39come back and be effective.
03:40I like him probably more as a late round pick than I would
03:43for this award, but you could see Wood, I mean, Woodruff
03:47went healthy, always a good pitcher.
03:49Agreed.
03:50I hope he does come back.
03:51All right, I think he started, he's throwing in the minor
03:53leagues now, I believe.
03:54So theoretically, he could come back around the same time
03:56as Strider, maybe even a little earlier.
03:58You know, we'll see what Brandon Woodruff here.
04:00I think if I was going to go with a brew, it would be yellow.
04:03It should get 20 to 1 here.
04:05If he can put that ball in the air a little bit more here
04:07and hit some more home runs and he can stay healthy, he's
04:09got the back.
04:10He's another guy though, Craig.
04:12I mean, what's he playing?
04:13100, same thing with Trout, 125 games.
04:16I don't see him being able to play game in, game out, day
04:18in, day out with that back injury.
04:20As the long season, it's going to take its toll.
04:23They're going to have to be very careful with monitoring
04:25his workload.
