00:00It is necessary to restore the so-called level playing field.
00:07Environmental regulations that penalize European, Mediterranean and Italian companies are absurd.
00:13When on the other side of the Mediterranean there are not the same environmental obligations,
00:18there are costs that simply go to our companies.
00:22It is a self-imposed policy of Europe against the same European companies that must be absolutely changed.
00:28The new plans of the EU for automotive seem oriented towards a greater pragmatism.
00:34Will there be an opening towards biofuels?
00:37We hope so. We are not so sure yet.
00:40There is still a lot of shyness.
00:41Well, the suspension of fines, well the anticipation of the revision clause of the CO2 regulation,
00:47but the technological neutrality, therefore the possibility of using all technologies and fuels
00:52that contribute to decarbonization, including biofuels,
00:55must still be conquered.
00:58This is our commitment and also the commitment of the Italian government.
