00:00As the weather gets hotter, some residents of Bacolod City have a problem with the lack of water supply.
00:06The local government is preparing a water ration for the affected areas.

00:24Residents of Bacolod City are calling for help to solve the problem of lack of water.
00:34Because of the hot weather, the residents of Bacolod City can't help but feel hot.
00:40Especially since there's no water coming out of their faucets.
00:43The residents of Bacolod City are asking for help to solve the problem of lack of water.
00:54While some residents are waiting for the water to come out of their faucets.
01:02It stinks!
01:04It's expensive!
01:10According to the Bacolod City Water District,
01:12the water supply from 84 MLD is only 79 million liters of water per day.
01:19Because of the hot weather.
01:21We have problems mostly in Iroreco, Mandalagan,
01:27East Homes, Estefania, and other areas, mostly in the north.
01:34100 million liters per day is the water supply needed by more than 74,000 consumers of Basiwa.
01:41But the water supply is lacking.
01:44The LGU is preparing a water ration for critical areas.
01:49The problem now is where can we get water supply?
01:54We appeal to the public to be with the use of water.
01:58We have 19 2,000 liters of tanks.
02:02We will plant it first, and then we will water it.
02:07The priority of the ration for this week is Villamonte, Feliza, Visa Alegre, and Tangub,
02:14as well as some parts of Alijis.
02:17Igan, the bulk water supplier of Basiwa Prime Water promised
02:26that they will add water supply to Bacolod City.
02:32But while there is no additional supply,
02:36they appealed to the residents of Bacolod City
02:39to extend their patience and save water.
