00:00It was caught in the arms and hands of the couple in Central Barangay in Quezon City because of a fire that broke out in two houses.

00:12We have first live news, James Agustin. James.

00:19Susan, I just saw that the Quezon City Fire Department is looking at an LPG gasolite that could be a weak fire that hit a house earlier.

00:29The couple, who owns the house, had to be rushed to the hospital after being hit by the LPG gasolite due to the incident.

00:40Residents of the BFD compound in Central Barangay, Quezon City, were engulfed by the fire at around 2 p.m. earlier.

00:47The first alarm was activated by the Bureau of Fire Protection.

00:50The response was not lower than an eight-firetruck.

00:53According to the resident, Ronald, they just woke up after hearing the explosion.

00:59I was surprised that it suddenly exploded.

01:01The other side was shouting.

01:04We went outside. I peeped first.

01:08Later, it exploded again.

01:10We ran outside.

01:13When we went outside, the fire was strong.

01:16A house with two floors was hit.

01:19According to the Quezon City Fire Department, the couple was rushed to the hospital after being hit by the LPG gasolite in the arms and hands.

01:27According to the initial investigation, the couple was cooking when the LPG gasolite exploded.

01:33One of their children, who refused to give a statement, was burned to ashes.

01:39They were only able to save a few clothes.

01:41The fire lasted for more than 30 minutes before it was completely extinguished.

01:45The authorities also identified the entire importance of the incident.
