00:00One by one, the Philippine National Police responded to the issues that violated the human rights of former President Rodrigo Duterte
00:09when he was arrested and taken to Hague.
00:13The Criminal Investigation Group claimed that the right process was followed and it was passed by Miranda Rights.
00:21The PNP also assured that all the needs of the former President were given,
00:26from food, check-up of doctors, to rest.
00:29This is the story of Clayzel Pardilla, live.
00:32Clayzel.
00:35Kenneth, the former President Rodrigo Duterte was not ashamed of being arrested and taken to the Netherlands.
00:41In fact, he was given special treatment and the maximum tolerance was fulfilled
00:47despite the pain and humiliation of some members of Duterte's group to the police.
00:56One by one, the Philippine National Police responded to the issues that violated the human rights of former President Rodrigo Duterte
01:02when he was arrested and taken to Hague to face the crimes against humanity
01:08because of his brutal fight against drugs and extrajudicial killings when he was the President of the Philippines
01:14and the Mayor of Davao City.
01:16The PNP also assured that he was asked by the Interpol to arrest Duterte
01:21who has a warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court against Duterte
01:26and he was charged by Miranda Rights.
01:28Duterte was not starved.
01:30He had enough water and food and was kept in the Presidential Lounge.
01:36There was no deprivation at any moment of their right to food and water.
01:43In fact, we were still delivering and they were just declining because there was too much food and too much.
01:50He was seated in the same seat as the President.
01:53We gave him and his companions.
01:56They were there in the most comfortable lounge.
02:01The former President was also put in a wheelchair but he refused and was given proper medical attention
02:07so he did not need to be taken to the hospital.
02:12Sir, you will also be examined in the hospital by these doctors.
02:18The only difference is the location.
02:20But what they will do to you is exactly the same.
02:23Because all the equipment is here.
02:25So, they are saying that he needs a full check-up, ECG.
02:32Even the ECG machine, we put it in there.
02:34You are the only one who needs this special treatment.
02:39Duterte was not touched and his bodyguards, nurses, and members of the family
02:44were the ones who accompanied the former President.
02:47In spite of Duterte's humiliation and abuse to the police,
02:52which resulted in a big blow to the head of a female police officer
02:57after Duterte's accomplice, Honolette Avincenia, beat him up.
03:03She used her power while she was being arrested and the arrest went through the right process.
03:08And we are proving that.
03:11It's not just words.
03:12We can see it in the videos.
03:14Our government has maximum tolerance.
03:20In the end, the PNP confirmed that what happened to Duterte
03:23will pave the way for a fair judicial process
03:28and prove if Duterte is really innocent
03:31or if he was responsible for his death when he started the war on drugs.
03:38Those judges are foreigners.
03:41But the complainants are Filipinos.
03:44These are the Filipinos during the time of PRRD
03:47who did not see any hope in the judicial process in our country at that time.
03:52That's why they went to the ICC.
03:54Because they saw a sitting senator and a former justice secretary in prison.
03:59These are the people who were unable to fight and did not see any hope.
04:03That's why they went to the ICC.
04:07Kenneth, despite the testimony of Katie Duterte to Tore,
04:10Tore decided not to file a case.
04:14That's the latest news.
04:16Back to you, Kenneth.
04:19Thank you very much, Clayzel Pardilla.
