00:00There's someone who's trying to weaken our economy, Donald Trump, Donald Trump.
00:11And Donald Trump, as we know, has put, as the prime minister just said, unjustified
00:18tariffs on what we build, on what we sell, on how we make a living.
00:25All right, folks, strap in because we've got a firestorm of a clip today.
00:29This is Mark Carney, the guy there floating as Trudeau's replacement, and he just unleashed
00:35a ruthless tirade against Donald Trump.
00:38Now get this, he's blaming Trump for trying to destroy Canada's way of life, while also
00:43subtly taking shots at Pierre Poilievre, basically calling him a Trump lapdog.
00:49It's pure political theater, and we're about to break it down piece by piece.
00:54Carney comes out swinging, accusing Trump of economic sabotage, and then flips it into
00:59a full-on assault against his Canadian opponent.
01:03It's hostile, it's aggressive, and it's loaded with hypocrisy, so let's dive in.
01:08He's attacking Canadian families, workers, and businesses, and we cannot let him succeed.
01:17And we won't.
01:18We won't.
01:20I am proud, I am proud of the response of Canadians, who are making their voices heard
01:28and their wallets felt.
01:32I am grateful for how our provinces are stepping up to the fight, because when we are united,
01:39we are Canada Strong.
01:43The Canadian, the Canadian government has rightly retaliated, and is rightly retaliating
01:56with our own tariffs that will have maximum impact in the United States, and minimum impact
02:02here in Canada.
02:03Oh wow, did you catch that?
02:07They are bragging about retaliating against the U.S., our biggest trade partner, while
02:12pretending it won't hurt Canadians.
02:15Let me get this straight, Carney.
02:16You're telling us that crippling trade relations with the U.S. is the solution?
02:21You honestly think Americans will just roll over because Canada slapped some tariffs on
02:25them?
02:26This is pure delusion.
02:28What's actually happening is Canadian workers are getting steamrolled by these tariffs,
02:33and Carney is standing here acting like they're winning the trade war.
02:38My government will keep our tariffs on until the Americans show us respect, and until they
02:59can join us in making credible and reliable commitments to free and fair trade, as Christia
03:08did.
03:10And in the meantime, we will ensure that all the proceeds, all the proceeds from our tariffs
03:17will be used to protect our workers.
03:20The Americans want our resources, our water, our land, our country.
03:28Think about it.
03:30If they, if they succeeded, they would destroy our way of life.
03:35Okay, hold up.
03:37Did you catch that fear-mongering?
03:39The Americans want our land, our water, our resources?
03:42Are you serious?
03:44This is straight-up Cold War rhetoric.
03:46What does he think?
03:48America is about to invade Canada and seize their resources.
03:51This is such a garbage political tactic.
03:55Instead of admitting that Canada's economy is collapsing because of his government's
03:59failures, Carney is basically saying the Americans are coming to steal our way of life.
04:05Give me a break.
04:06This is pure desperation.
04:08In America, health care is a big business.
04:12In Canada, it is a right.
04:15America is not Canada.
04:18In Canada, never, ever will be part of America in any way, shape, or form.
04:40We didn't ask for this fight.
04:42We didn't ask for this fight.
04:44The Canadians are always ready when someone else drops the gloves.
04:49So the Americans, they should make no mistake, in trade as in hockey, Canada will win.
04:56In this crisis, we must help those who are hit hardest by the American tariffs while
05:02we build our strength here at home.
05:05That's the right thing to do.
05:06That's the fair thing to do.
05:08That is the Canadian thing to do.
05:11That is what makes us strong.
05:25Donald Trump thinks he can weaken us with his plan to divide and conquer.
05:33Pierre Poilievre's plan will leave us divided and ready to be conquered.
05:41Because, a person who worships at the altar of Donald Trump will kneel before him, not
05:48stand up to him.
05:51Pierre Poilievre's slogans are not solutions.
06:04His anger is in action.
06:05His division is in strength.
06:10Oh, there it is.
06:12There it is.
06:14The real reason for this speech.
06:16This whole thing was never about Trump.
06:18It was about smearing Pierre Poilievre by associating him with Trump.
06:23Look at the rhetoric.
06:25Carney is framing Poilievre as some radical division-mongering Trumpist, when in reality
06:30Poilievre is simply calling out government incompetence.
06:34This is pure establishment propaganda.
06:37They're using the boogeyman of Trump to scare Canadians into submission.
06:41And it's painfully obvious.
06:43Division won't pay the rent or the mortgage.
06:47Division won't bring down the price of groceries.
06:50Division won't make Canada strong.
06:53We can give ourselves far, far more than Donald Trump can ever take away.
07:05But it will.
07:07It will take extraordinary efforts.
07:10It won't be business as usual.
07:13We will have to do things we haven't imagined before at speeds we didn't think possible.
07:19We will do it.
07:21We will do it for the common good so that everyone benefits.
07:31I know that these are dark days.
07:37Dark days brought on by a country we can no longer trust.
07:42We are getting over the shock.
07:46But let us never forget the lessons.
07:49We have to look after ourselves.
07:53And we have to look out for each other.
07:58We need to pull together in the tough days ahead.
08:05And so, to those families watching this evening in Fort Smith, in Edmonton, and across every
08:12community in Canada, I promise you this, together we can and we will get through this crisis.
08:24We can and we will come out stronger than ever.
08:31And we will because Canada is built on the strength of its people.
08:40From our mines to our ports, from our logging roads to our city streets, we're strongest
08:45when we're united, when we're one economy, not 13, when we can cheer for different teams
08:53and still be on one team when it counts.
08:55When we come together, when we come together, we build things that last because we are Canada
09:04strong.
09:05Vive le Canada!
09:06Merci.
