00:10In her remarks, Rodriguez informed that ExxonMobil paid a lobbyist to have Chevron expelled from
00:15Venezuela.
00:16Furthermore, the high official denounced how the company has been conspiring against the
00:20nation for over a decade, in complicity with the government of Guyana, seeking to undermine
00:25its economic stability.
00:27In this regard, the Executive Vice President stressed that Guyana is not a victim but a
00:31protagonist who has been playing its role against the Bolivarian nation.
00:34In addition, Vice President Rodriguez condemned the unilateral coercive measures imposed against
00:39the country with the aim of affecting the oil sector, in spite of the negative consequences
00:45they would have on the Venezuelan population.
00:48Rodriguez also denounced the involvement of the opposition in this matter, which has done
00:53everything possible to damage the country's economic stability.
