00:00Here with Bruce Bocci, four-time World Series champion skipper, now Bocci here at Sprig Training.
00:10What are you looking for for this 2025 Texas Rangers roster?
00:13I'm really excited about the club, the changes we've made, you know, this offense, I think
00:18it's going to get back to what it was in 2023, put more runs on the board.
00:23Last year was a tough year for us offensively, but you know, adding Berger and Peterson is
00:29going to help there.
00:30But, you know, I got to talk about the pitching.
00:32I think it's going to be even better than what some people may think.
00:35We have a great rotation, we have depth, bullpen is the area that, you know, we got to get
00:41sorted out, but we have the experience and the veteran arms there that can make for a
00:46good bullpen.
00:47For this spring, is there anything you're focusing on in particularly, like when you're
00:50going through practice right now?
00:52Yeah, probably as much as anything will be the bullpen.
00:57You know, it's going to be competitive.
00:59We got some jobs open down there, and the rotation, we're pretty set, but we're staying
01:06open-minded because we have some good young arms here that are competing for a job there.
01:12Berger, you know, working with him at first base, this is his first full year, just concentrating
01:17on first base.
01:18And the fact he can just focus there all spring, it's going to help him.
01:23Of course, you're looking forward to seeing Peterson, how he blends in, his personality,
01:28something that I think is going to be an asset for his ball club.
