03:16So that you have to wonder so you look at a team like Louisville. Can they do something to push to pack else?

03:25He's got a team that can rock and then you never wonder about Duke
03:28I know they're young like can the spot get too big what happened?
03:32That's the thing you have to worry about with Duke, right? The only thing I know it sounds crazy
03:36What happens if they're in a really tight game the last three minutes? They haven't been in one
03:42So that's the thing we don't know about to get is how can those young kids handle the pressure because they literally blow teams out

03:50And that's the thing, right? What if Duke has a bad game?
03:53It feels as though the Blue Devils back game right now is still about four or five points better than any other team
03:59Around the ACC but you can find some value from the bottom side of that bracket
04:05Louisville the two-seed Clemson the three-seed also very successful
04:10ACC season's only two losses for either team. Of course a story will be North Carolina the five-seed they'll get the winner on
04:19Wednesday of an opening round matchup between Notre Dame and Pittsburgh UNC doesn't care about that one
04:25They need to win that one
04:26They need to beat Wake Forest and then they might be able to see their rivals in the Blue Devils again in the semi-finals on
04:33Friday that could provide a quad one opportunity that UNC desperately needs or miss the tournament for the second time in
04:41The last three years J. Why how about some of those other conference tournaments that we have in the Big 12?
04:49Houston has been in pole position each of the two seasons in the league the Big Ten
04:54Although Michigan State won the league outright by three games should be an exciting conference tournament in Indianapolis
05:01And of course, we'll get to the Big East in just a matter of moments
05:05But when you talk about maybe the most highly anticipated SEC men's basketball tournament ever
05:11That's what we can expect this week in
05:13Nashville for the six best places to win a national championship out of the Southeastern Conference

05:25You get worried that the team that comes out of the SEC

10:35So the st. John's don't look better for them to be bowed out maybe in the round, you know
10:40And it's semi-finals and all depends on the team and what they need if you're playing bad

10:52March is about momentum. You want to play your best basketball in the biggest of games
10:57but you don't want to use all of your best basketball before the chaotic tournament known as

17:32Duke's not really a runaway victor in the ACC just appears that way like Clemson like right on their heels along with Louisville

17:41But I do think the Big East just generates that nostalgia because st. John's is back this year

19:28St. John's, of course the favorite inside Madison Square Garden will be really interesting to see what the two-seat Creighton

19:38Marquette the five Marquette and Xavier will face off in their opening game on
19:44Thursday winner of that one, of course will advance the semifinal Friday at the Big East tournament to take on
19:50St. John's that will be really interesting or more than likely St.

19:54John's does have a game in a quarterfinals on
19:57Thursday as well Creighton a very peculiar team a lot of talent there this year Steven Ashworth and

20:04Maybe the best big in all of college basketball
20:07But great McDermott's teams have often been known for great offense and a ton of pace in the defense trails behind this year
20:14The defense is really good for Creighton. We'll see what happens for the Jays moving forward
20:20I think the Big Ten tournament, of course, I'm Big Ten Ben, but I have a little bit of bias toward it
20:24I think it is really compelling Michigan State won the regular season crown by three games
20:29But still the Spartans not looked at as the runaway favorite
20:32I do think there is some value on Purdue the Boilermakers are the five seed
20:38They are a seven to one price Michigan losing yesterday in East Lansing
20:43To the Spartans in that rivalry game drop, Michigan all the way to the four seed in the Big Ten tournament
20:49amazing blue still earning that double by but dropping their final three games of this regular season and
20:55Certainly leaking some oil. I think Purdue is in a great matchup
20:59Against Michigan in what would be that four or five game?
21:02Maryland the three seed Maryland might have a different difficult quarterfinal game on Friday against a streaking, Illinois team
21:10That is the six seed in Indianapolis bottom half of the bracket
21:14Sensational and I do think Purdue or Illinois could have a good path to that tournament title game against more than likely Michigan State
21:21Yeah, I think Michigan State also obviously, you know being the favorites of plus 260 a great shot
21:25Like they're just the type of team that probably would thrive off that neutral court environment where maybe not the greatest shooting lines not used
21:31To playing there
21:32They don't rely on the three-point shot to be the end-all be-all
21:34But if one of these teams can get out like Purdue, which by the way
21:37I don't lose pretty plus four and a half on Friday night. I mean it covered

21:45So Purdue still has the weapons here that if they get hot from three-point range

23:27So I was wondering where the Steelers will go at running back. They're not losing Jalen Warren, which means

24:08Championship the gauntlet that it was as Donnie and I were breaking it down right the one seed South, Alabama the two seed James

24:19But they took on the three and four seeds and got beat
24:23Arkansas State who was the favorite to win the Sun Belt men's tournament and get that automatic bid to the big dance is the
24:30Ever so slight favorite tonight
24:32Against Troy the RS. Let's start in the Sun Belt
24:35Then we'll get to the SoCon and the matchup between Furman and Wofford for that tournament title as well Sun Belt
24:42Championship game. How do you break it down between Troy and Arkansas State?
24:46It's kind of tough like, you know liking Arkansas State yesterday bet them at that point and by the way only when it was the final
24:52Score was at 74 71 something like that
24:54I'd needed a number minus four and a half late in that game had an easy cover a free ball with three seconds to go
25:00A couple miss free throws was down, but Arkansas State well, I thought was the better team yesterday and handled their business
25:05However, they are the number one, you know most efficient team on offense and conference play
25:09But the matchup isn't fantastic and even from Troy's perspective, right? They love to shoot the three-point shot
25:15They don't make a lot of them only about 30%
25:17But the problem is Arkansas State's defense really defends a three-point line and chases you off the three-point line
25:23It's look at how many teams in conference play. I believe it's 14
25:27Point distribution here last is Troy inside the arc number two is Arkansas State
25:32So they don't even match up the way you want to match up if Troy wants to pull this game out
25:36So I do lean on Arkansas State because I like the defensive matchup and they do have the best offense in conference play
25:42But it's probably gonna be a no play for me after all
25:44But I'll root for Arkansas State in this one
25:46The slight favorite Brian Hodgson has done a great job in his two years with the Red Wolves 20 wins in year
25:52Number one looking for win number 25 today in the matchup against Troy. It would be Arkansas State's

26:48Here's the tough part about this to is take a look at Furman's defense. They don't fast
26:51You're not gonna steal those free throw line
26:54Points there and also understand this you do but this conference loves to shoot the three-point shot
26:5947% of the shots from three-point land coming from Wofford out of their total offense
27:02But you have that Furman defense fourth in conference at defending the three-point shot number one at conference at chasing you off
27:08How about Furman's offense half of their field goals Ben come from three-point range eighth in conference play it letting you shoot
27:15It is Wofford's defense. You probably get that
27:17I don't have this one on my card, but I probably would give the light lean here and say, you know what?
27:21Give me the team that's going to be able to shoot the three-point shot as many times as they want and that's Furman
27:25It's like lean for me towards Furman today, and they have a better three-point percentage as well
