00:00I got drafted to play for Conawood back in 1983. I went there for a couple of years.
00:13I played 5 games in 1984 and saw the writing on the wall that that wasn't going to be a long term future.
00:21So I headed back to Tassie as a teacher and got posted at Smithton High.
00:28Played with Smithton for a few years.
00:31Bernie Dock was there when they took it on with Putt McCarthy.
00:36Once that all finished, we moved up to Bourne.
00:41I played a basketball tour, so because of my son Matthew taking it on, I stayed in basketball.
00:53I'm retired now, so that gives me something to do as well.
00:57I enjoy being involved with the juniors and help out the seniors as well.
