00:00So a bunch of innocent Roblox accounts have been getting banned lately.
00:03Literally thousands, maybe tens of thousands of innocent Roblox accounts have been banned for absolutely no reason.
00:10And in this video, we're gonna be breaking down why.
00:13We're also gonna be talking about this new Roblox problem that's come up where Roblox is locking your account,
00:18like permanently locking users out of their accounts, also for seemingly no reason.
00:24We've got some new drama with the Roblox event to talk about, along with a huge new Roblox scam that you guys need to know about.
00:32So subscribe and like the video, let's get into it.
00:34So this post here recently has been blowing up on Twitter.
00:37It's by someone named ItGirlLucy, and she tweeted and said,
00:41And here's the screenshot, and if we take a closer look at this, we can actually see it says,
01:09Just straight up terminated.
01:10Now, if you're a subscriber of the channel, you might know that we've actually already talked about this in a previous video,
01:15but it seems like this problem is getting worse.
01:17In fact, I did some digging on the Roblox banned subreddit, and I actually found a bunch of posts saying,

01:40Account deleted for something that happened five years ago.
01:42Boom.
01:43Same thing.
01:44My account of eight or more years got hit with this while I was just randomly flying around and dragging adventures.
01:50I feel devastated.
01:52Look at this right here.
01:53March 2nd.
01:53Sunday.
01:54Banned.
01:54Account deleted.
01:55You created or used an account to avoid an enforcement ban.
01:58So what exactly is going on here?
01:59Well, let me explain.
02:00You see, Roblox recently started doing this thing called enforcement bans, and this thread here over on the Roblox dev forms kind of breaks it down.
02:09So this guy here, he got his account deleted.
02:12Same thing, right?
02:13You created or use an account to avoid an enforcement action, and the reason why his account got banned is because his brother's account got banned.
02:20You see, Roblox enforcement bans kind of work like this.
02:23If you're using the same Wi-Fi network as someone else who gets banned on Roblox, if you share an email with someone else who gets banned on Roblox, maybe a phone number, maybe you live in the same household.
02:35Well, then what happens is Roblox bans all of the account.
02:39Does that make sense?
02:40I hope that makes sense.
02:41It's like, for example, in this case, this guy's brother got banned, and then Roblox detected another account that was on the same network in the same house, and then they banned that account as well.
02:50Now, the reason why Roblox is doing this is to stop hackers and exploiters from just making another account if they get banned for exploiting.
02:57Like, if I get banned for hacking right now, there's nothing really stopping me from just going to Roblox and just signing up for another account.

03:08I just made a brand new Roblox account, and I'm right back to hacking, just like that.
03:13And that's where these enforcement bans come in, right?
03:15Roblox detects, hey, you're on the same network as someone else that just got banned.
03:19Probably in all, we're going to ban you too.
03:21Now, it sounds great in theory, but the problem is, well, if you have a sibling or someone else on the same network, like even if you're on a public Wi-Fi network, like let's say you're at school using school Wi-Fi, and someone on that school Wi-Fi gets banned, then everybody on that school Wi-Fi gets banned, right?
03:38Now, if we circle back to ItGirlLucy here, the reason why this is crazy is ItGirlLucy, if we look at her account here, she's actually a moderator for a game called ItGirl, which is a Roblox game that's actually going to be a part of the brand new event.
03:54So Roblox banned a moderator for a game that's literally going to be in the event, and she's even having trouble getting her account back.
04:05So if she's going through all this trouble, if she's having issues, right, and her game is literally in the event, well, you know, random eight-year-old Timmy over there, he's not going to be able to get his account back.
04:16Now, what she did here is she used a VPN to change the IP address of the device, right?
04:21And she was able to then contact Roblox Appeals, but they just straight up denied her.
04:27So it kind of looks like her account's just permanently banned.
04:30In fact, if we go to her account here, I think she actually had to make a new account.
04:33And yeah, she did.
04:34Look, two hours ago, she made a new account.
04:36She said, yesterday, my brother got banned, and I ended up getting banned, too, since we have the same IP.
04:42Basically, they were on the same Wi-Fi network.
04:44Now, the only way to really avoid this or get around this is to play Roblox on, like, a VPN.
04:51There's a bunch of free VPNs out there.
04:52I'm not going to get into it, but if you use a VPN, then I guess the likelihood of your Roblox account getting banned is way lower.
04:59And then, of course, make sure that you don't share a phone number or email address with someone else,
05:03because if their account gets banned, then yours will, too.
05:06Now, let's talk about this right here.
05:07Roblox is permanently locking users out of their accounts.
05:10Now, I saw this, like, a month ago, and I didn't really think much of it,
05:14but a lot of people have been talking about it recently, so I wanted to talk about it just for a few seconds here.
05:18So this guy here tweeted and said, my seven Roblox accounts got this notification.
05:24And basically, it was plain Roblox.
05:25This notification popped up and it said, for the safety and security of your account, your Roblox password has been reset.
05:32To regain access to your account, please type in your email or phone number and click the submit button on this page.
05:37Enter your email to recover your Roblox account.
05:39So this guy was just playing Roblox, and Roblox just randomly reset his password, logging him out.
05:45Now, this is a problem for a bunch of different reasons.
05:47Like, for example, what if you don't have access to that email anymore?
05:50What if you don't have an email on your account?
05:53Well, then you're kind of just screwed.
05:55Like, what in the world's going on here?
05:56Please explain it to me, Kreekraft.
05:58That's what I'm going to do.
05:59So this is yet again another security feature.
06:01Basically, what's going on is Roblox is detecting, hey, you're logged in from a different location.
06:07Maybe you took your laptop or your phone and you're on a different Wi-Fi network or in a different spot in the world than you normally are.
06:14And what's happening is Roblox actually has security protections in place that detects if, hey, someone is logged into this account from a location we don't recognize.
06:23It's probably a hacker.
06:25Therefore, we're going to reset the password and send an email.
06:29It's essentially to stop hackers from getting access to your account.
06:32So, like, for example, if someone logged into my Roblox account right now, right?
06:36Logged into my Roblox account this very second from, I don't know, let's say the UK.
06:41Well, I don't live in the UK, so the Roblox systems is going to go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
06:44Well, that's weird.
06:45That's probably a hacker.
06:46We're going to reset the password and lock the account.
06:49Again, in theory, it's a good idea.
06:51But if you don't have access to your email or if you can't log into your email, well, then you're kind of screwed and your Roblox account is just now permanently gone.
06:59So again, make sure you have an email on your Roblox account and you have access to that email because if you don't, your Roblox account could get locked and that's it.
07:09It's gone.
07:10So let's talk about the new Roblox event, right?
07:12It's for $1,000,000.
07:13Now, I made a whole video talking about this.
07:15You guys probably saw it, but there's been a little bit of drama about this.
07:18So if you guys don't know the new Roblox event that comes out, I think it's like next week.
07:22The winner of that event gets $1,000,000 like actually $1,000,000 in real life.
07:28And this tweet has been going a little bit viral around the Roblox community been popping off.
07:33And this person tweeted and said, is it just me or am I the only one that thinks this is a dumb decision by Roblox?
07:39We've seen what happened with the ready player one event and this is not gonna end.
07:44Well, heck this will probably be even worse than what happened with the RPO event.
07:48The ready player one event.
07:50Well, if you guys don't know, let me explain what happened with the ready player one event.
07:53So back in 2018, there was a Roblox event called the ready player one event and the winner of that event only one person.
08:01They would get this right here.
08:02The golden Dominus.
08:04That's what it was called.
08:05And the person who ended up getting first place and winning the event and getting this item was this guy here named Roku this guy right here.
08:12Here's his account.
08:13You can see he even says winner of ready player one right there.
08:17Well, you see what ended up happening to him is actually some pretty bad things.
08:22A while after he received his golden Dominus many hate accounts named after him started appearing in search results such as Roku go die.
08:29Roku uses noclip.
08:31Roku is a hacker.
08:32He even had his personal information leak.
08:36It eventually impacted his family and it went to the point where the family needed to contact the police due to all the outrage from Roblox players.
08:45So yeah, what happened is this guy here?
08:47He won the item and since everyone wanted the item they got really really mad whenever he won because you know,
08:52their kids and kids are really dumb.
08:55Sometimes no offense to any kids watching this video.
08:58There's not any kids watching the world grown-ups here, right?
09:00And is that going to happen again to the person who inevitably wins the 1 million dollars?
09:06Yes, people are going to accuse that person of cheating.
09:08People are going to accuse that person of hacking.
09:10They're going to get death threats.
09:12Probably here's my take on this though, right?
09:14If you win a million dollars a you can probably afford to take a thousand two thousand of that and invest in some security for you and your family shoot.
09:25You could afford to hire literal 24 7 private security for probably like a whole year if you needed to it's a million dollars.
09:33Now what I hope is I hope Roblox actually accounts for this and I hope that Roblox actually provides whoever wins the million dollars protection and security because they're definitely going to need it.
09:44But at the same time, it's a million dollars man.
09:48Like anybody who wins a million dollars is going to face the same amount of scrutiny.
09:53If you win a million dollars on a TV show, the exact same thing is going to happen.
09:57It's just it's it's unfortunately part of life.
09:59So whoever does win the million dollars stay safe.
10:02Be smart.
10:03Be careful invest in security.
10:05Take a little bit of that money put it in some security because you will inevitably need it.

10:10I want to talk about a new Roblox scam now huge shout out the chase of Rooney.
10:14I think he's actually the first person that broke the news on this Roblox scam.
10:18So huge shout out to him, but basically there's this big new scam that's been going on on Roblox.
10:23Tick tock surprise, right?
10:25So there's a bunch of videos that have been popping up and it's like, hey, you can see who reported you on Roblox.
10:32There are games now where you can see who exactly reported you.
10:37You can see this this video.
10:38Here's got 85,000 likes 80,000 likes.
10:41Like this is a is a big trend that's going on hundred and forty two thousand likes here.
10:46And here's the tweet here, right?
10:48It says there's a new Roblox scam.
10:50These games are marketed and advertised as good games for 25 50 80 hundred Robux, but in reality, they're fake game.
10:57So actually got one right here.
10:59It's called reported viewer.
11:00Now, here's how the scam works.
11:02So all of these games that let you see who reported you they cost like 25 50 80 hundred Robux, right?
11:08And you have to actually buy it to get into the game.
11:12Now, we're going to go ahead and do that.
11:13I'm going to buy access for 25 Robux.
11:15Don't do this because you're going to get scammed.
11:17I just got scammed.
11:18But here's the thing, right?
11:19You can't see who reported you.
11:21There are no games that can show you who reported you because reports are anonymous.
11:26They're private.
11:27Only Roblox can see who reported you.
11:29So all of these TikTok videos all of these all actually, oh my God, there's already another player in here.
11:36Oh my God, this guy this guy actually got scammed.
11:38You got to be kidding.
11:39Basically, what I'm trying to say though is there is no way for a random Roblox game to see who reported your account.
11:45It's not public.
11:46It's it's all fake.
11:48Like this is literally just scamming thousands tens of thousands hundreds of thousands of kids.
