00:06of pages, 112 pages of that plan. It was unveiled on Tuesday and it means that no Palestinians
00:13will be displaced from the enclave. Tell us, can this plan work?
00:19Well, Egypt has been involved in aspects pertaining to the reconstruction of Gaza for several
00:25decades and in the last years there were a number of wars and Egypt contributed and
00:33participated in reconstruction. Of course, we're talking about a totally different magnitude,
00:39but it is not, you know, rocket science. Issues of reconstruction have been dealt with around
00:45the world since World War II and before, and what the Arab side, led by Egypt in relation
00:53to the plan, have concluded that this is a plan that can be adopted. And it was not
01:00done only by Egypt, it was done by Egypt in cooperation with the Palestinians, as well
01:06as the UNDP, the World Bank, and other Arab countries. And it takes into consideration
01:12all kinds of aspects pertaining to the experience in UNDP and the World Bank and Egypt and other
01:19countries that wanted to contribute to this process. And it will be discussed with others,
01:26donors, international community, and so on, and we hope that this would work.
